Big hugs PM.HA's suck they really do.We own our place but its part of a block that has been taken over by an HA(ex council) and we are constantly having to fight them about things!

good morning everyone still raining here. i am on the look out for a ipod touch so that i can take it into hospital and i will have something to listen to, i have a few months yet so thought i would start looking now.

Lilly, find out how much they cost from supermarket & argos too. Then let me know, don't buy it yet, wait till say middle or end of May. I'll see what I can do for you to get it cheap from Argos. Hopefully, by that time Del boy will be able to get the stuff of us ( me & colleagues):D

Yes Blue I haven't forgotten about you too. We all are still waiting for argos vouchers.

Jeferey hope you have a great weekend with FB :A

Just went to WHS bought 6 books of 12 first class stamps cost £33.12 before the increase used £32.10 from giftcards got buying a card and getting £15 giftcard for £10 promo so technically the stamps that will be worth £43.20 as off Monday but only paid £20 for £30 + the £2.10 was left from another card that DS used to purchase a book he needed. So pretty much got them half price:j .

Been very occupied this week sorting out Buyagift things with the £600 of vouchers I won last year on the Pepsi comp...just finalised a day out for 6 at Blenheim Palce with afternoon tea...DILs folks are coming over from New York , so that's going to be a good day out for us all..Also had a Herb Garden for DIL's birthday( she loves it)got lots of rain for planting it this weekend too....year long pass to Ironbridge Museums( first one has fish and chip lunch) ...English Heritage annual pass a Segway experience for me and hubby and one for son and daughter in law....and day out at Wedgwood for me and granddaughter, throw and pot and paint it , have lunch and both get Wedgwood jewellry to take home.....these are all exchanges as the original prize was Monster Truck Driving for 3.....you ccan keep changing your mind with Buyagift, order something, voucher arrives in a gift box, you enter it and then can change your mind and choose something else, each time you get another 10 months in whcih to use it...so it can be on-going, and will never expire until you actually book a date for something.
Also been mega excited as son is giving me a Macbook Air and an iPhone..he has just bought the latest models for himself so I get his 'old' ones ...so I'm soon going to be so super techie...hubby is making me a new laptop tray thingy for the Macbook, so I can surf in the sitting room in comfort , got one already for my laptop, but it was only ever the prototype and he never got around to making it look very smart, but it is great to sit in my recliner and be so comfortable, even got a padded wrist rest and as I only use a wifi mouse, it even has a ridge to stop the mat or the mouse slipping off.The new one is much lighter and less bulky, should be finished this weekend....all this because of the rain, not been fit to do anything except all the projects he has had on hold.
