Sorry, I forgot to name the store earlier - Watford Extra has nothing worth getting for 10p, unless you want wierd metal brushes! The Katherine Place Express has clothesy things - kids gloves, I think maybe underwear too which is going through as 10p but not labelled.
  • Lea Valley and Beckton weren't much cop, but there was a ton of stuff still in Cheshunt, and they were even putting more stuff out...

I don't think I can quite justify going to Cheshunt (though it's very tempting). Does anyone know if the St Albans store has anything? Or the Extra in Borehamwood?
  • theres stuff left in the dingwall sore if anyone near the highlands of scotland . mirrors, brushes, photo frames, cutlery, diy stuff, cds, teddy bath sponges for kids, torches with batteries, baby cup bowl set, lampshades, kids pocket games.paint roller sets and brushes.

i bought 9 torches and a few other bits.

I literally just purchased 4 BOGOF deals a few days ago! How annoying. Will see if there is anything decent left tomorrow.

If you still have to receipt, and the time and inclination, what is to stop you returning the 4 BOFOF purchases with receipt, and getting a refund.
Obviously if you actually do want them, make sure they have plenty of stock of them at 10p!!

Also noticed that Tesco cs often don't notice the bogof or special offer at the bottom of the receipt, and actually refund the full amount anyway - more than you paid in the first place;)
  • Well, after my big haul yesterday (buying max of 10 of each item :A ) I asked my DH if he wanted to have a look in our local store today on the way to Boots.

I was very surprised to see there was still lots left but it was very busy around the boxes. There were lots of different items from yesterday so managed to spend another 9.80 (so 98 items!). This was at about 10am in Batley so not sure if there will be anything left now. They were still putting items out. Today I bought some stationery sets, plastic pelican style bibs, baby food pots, exfoliating gloves, travel backgammon games, travel checkers games, survival blanket and poncho sets, more toys, children's animal sponges, childrens chess games, children's checkers set, tin opener, washing up brushes, puncture repair kits, artificial flowers, soft dish clothes, glass sponges, dvd marking pens, crepe paper, glitter glue sets, craft kits to make chicks and caterpillars, pencil top rubbers, and some other stuff i've forgotten!!

No cdr's, dvds either yesterday or today.

Not now you've been there, :rotfl:

On a more serious note, plenty of the packs of forks, teaspoons, desert spoons and CD-R's in Leeds Roundhay Tesco's. They also had some el cheapo mirrors. Tesco's extra in seacroft is not really worth bothering with.

Absolutely loads of stuff in Tesco alloa this am. many thanks to op as I am not a Tesco shopper and would have missed this one. I bought £4.70 worth.

Did you buy up the plastic CD wallets which I was after by any chance? ;)

Not that much worth buying in Alloa now apart from some of the DIY stuff.
  • Winchester store had a few items this morning - picked up 20 bags of hairbands (100 in a pack) for 10p each so that's my year supply sorted, also lots of purse size hairbrushes, and bath sets. Also picked up a couple of tavel adapters for 10p - very handy for summer hols.
Next went to Burseldon - they had a bigger range and were still putting stock out when i left - picked up 3 pack of egg cups, mugs, cake slice, exercise books, clothes hangers, yo-yo's, other travel size games, twin packs of ashtrays (clear glass type), 3 packs of expandable sponges, mirrors, + more.
This was at 9am this morning.

Just popped back to Burseldon store to get a ps2 memory card, and they were putting out loads more diy products which weren't there before. All 10p including paint brush sets, hex keys, hammers, and filing set (rasps).
Anyone know a good deal on a tool box? :j
