Try putting in a non accepted sim and then putting the code in, you have to do that with some of the 6020's, Oh no I am running out of cherries !

Still no codes for the 1112, your local unlocking shop/stall will be able to unlock it using a box and they should charge around £5 for doing this.

Pants! It is a 3 sim I want to put in:eek: My present phone is not charging and I thought I could put my 3 sim into my nokia 6020. This is not the case then......stupid, sweary words, mobile phones!:rolleyes2

Not quite true that bit.

3 sims are to be used on a 3G network and require a 3G phone to be able to operate without 3 disconnecting the sim.

So for example, I have a 3 PAYG sim that I had from a C975 phone bought directly from 3. I also have a K800i on O2 which is unlocked and unbranded and my 3 sim will work perfectly in that, because it is also a 3G sim.

Now if I stick in my unlocked Nokia 6021, it will work for a short time before 3 disconnect the sim, because it is only a 2G phone.

So summarise, it has nothing to do with who the phone came from, it is down to, is the phone unlocked and is it a 3G phone.
