It can be done using the vodacode database which is £12, its a code you enter into your phone and it unlocks it.

Hi,
I used trycktill to try and unlock my Nokia 6230i phone which is currently on Vodafone. The list of models on the website only has the 6230 (and not te 6230i) but I used it with my friends phone and it work there.
Anyone got any ideas?

My wife has a Nokia 6111 V03.70 imei 353657014903579 with tescos chip want to change to virgin tried 2 unlock codes from a software prog and one from unlockme web site all came up as code error, the code from unlockme was #pw+259165575734325+7#, didnt note the 1st 2, any ideas what the problem is as I only have 2 more chances

this should be correct although the codes dont always work on this model
also i think you only get 3 code attempts on these, so if it says cannot undo restriction then you will need direct unlock
#pw+259 215 575 734 325+7#

Nope, you're okay, anyone with an unlocking clip will be able to do this.
