Not possible by code, only o2 can unlock this

You have to put the codes in quite quickly, if you leave it hanging for a few seconds it will just go back onto the insert sim screen, if you put it in quickly you will get one of the following messages,sim restriction off, cannot undo restriction or code error.

I have Nokia 3110 Classic phone.

Ive been given some code (Browntoa knows), but it didnt work. I went to local shop. They cant unlock it. They said they have to check internet if 3110 is unlocked.

The phone is locked to Orange and IMEI is : 355523010184127.
So how can I get it unlocked?
Any chance?

could you post a link of what your phone looks like? as there seems to be 2 models with the same number?
one is an old type nokia

This is a new phone just released recently by Nokia. Not old 90's 3110. Please see the above link,

I see from my earlier thread this mobile cant be unlocked yet. Is this likely to be pernament or will a remote unlock be possible in the near future?

It can be unlocked by cable and hardware for £5 from your local pro unlocker, no ideas when a code solution will be available,it could be quite a while.

from what i can find on the web this is a bb5 phone so no free codes. it maybe possible to unlock it yourself using the dejan unlocker but i dont know anyone who has tried it.
