if the phone was locked to o2 and a virgin sim works in it (or the other way round), then the phone is unlocked

Sorry, I made that posy a nit misleading.

I want to use it on o2 but it asks for code. However my virging sim works fine so I need it unlocking from that network.

bb5 nokia, can only be unlocked by the network at the moment.

keep an eye on the Unlock BB5 nokia sticky as it may become supported soon
