Just wanted to add to this forum that BB5 phones can be unlocked without requesting an unlock code from the previous operator - phonerepairworld.com in Nottingham can do it. They did my Nokia 6234 which now works fine. Look them up on the net. Did mine in a day. Well impressed even though I had to pay. They will update the software on the phone to (to any network).

I've a 6230i emei 352285019612838 that was bought brand new from One Stop Phone Shop but is locked from the o2 network is was sold for. I've tried it with my virgin sim and it works fine. Please can you help.
