locations of scoop and saves

thought it would be a good idea for people to post where their local scoop and save is so if others in the area don't know of it they can find it.

I don't know if Chesterfield has one so would be interested in knowing.

  • Southend on Sea town centre, dunno the name of the road but it is by the ictoria plaza car park, opposite the bus stops.
    All the usual stuff plus pic n mix. Nice lady who serves as well.

    everyone is telling me that there is one in Ipswich nr Argos and the Co-Op...will investigate soon
    We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    i used to go to one in Stretford, Manchester where I used to live and I didn't know these places existed any more! They are gems!

    there is a weigh and save in the precinct in Boscombe, Bournemouth, but i think the new local food coop is even better

    there is also one in North Road in Durham (or there was when i lived there)

    its also called 'weigh and save', basically a shop where there are big bins of mainly dried food, you scoop it into a bag, they weigh it and you pay! its usually good value. they sell all kinds of dry things, from flour to nuts and seeds to sweets and washing powder.
