Wouldn't it be nice given the amount of claims Heswell has issued over the last few weeks, if we could coordinate them all to be heard on the same day?

Hopefully he would disappear up his own backside chasing them around.

Given that not all claims will be advertised on forums, I wonder how many he has issued? More importantly for what reason, specially the ones against the keepers?

Maybe a blanket attack hoping for a few defaults and maybe one or two badly defended wins, maybe the poor fellows ego has taken a pasting in the last few weeks?;)

Would be a nice idea, unfortunately there is a little matter of him closing dates on the allocation questionnaire... I think he has simply gone for the approach of issuing many in the hope a proportion will pay rather than defend; but we will see. The ones I have seen are doomed, so it will be interesting to see whether he takes them further. Vexatious indeed.

I think the last straw was a recent condescending PM from one of the moderators ticking me off for having the audacity to describe a particularly amateurish "DIY" PPC operation as a scam.

ALL PPC operations are scams. If they have any problem over there with that simple truth, then they have absolutely NO BUSINESS running an advice forum on the subject.

Do you all recall when on this very MSE forum, we weren't allowed to use the terms 'scam' and cowboys' about these outfits?! I believe it followed a complaint sent by Parking Eye's Solicitors to all the 'usual' parking advice forums (and I think that's why pepipoo and CAG still don't allow those words).

The censorship didn't last long on here!

I remember exchanging pm's with MSEAndrea and pointing out that Martin Lewis had been the one to coin the phrase 'Cowboys in the new Wild West' and linked her to his 2009 newpapers articles on the subject. Also pointed out that the word 'scam' was used liberally all over the whole MSE board and was very apt and perfectly legit to use in respect of this particular protection racket. And it's all our own opinion on an unmoderated board so nothing for MSE to be concerned out.

I am guessing Martin Lewis agreed. We never heard anything more about it and we soon all went back to calling a spade a spade on here. :D

Well, after a couple of months on CAG, and seeing this latest debacle, I've also jacked it in. I'm sure I won't be missed, but hey, f*ck 'em.
