Well they have stopped me from posting on CAG for a certain period of time now!

They are a petty bunch over there. The worst one was Jonni2bad. Such an arrogant and unpleasant man full of his own importance. I used to think of him when I was in the bakery section at tescos looking for bread. Then I would read the label again and realise it said "thick cut".

They are at it again over on CAG - this time in a thread entitled "Do I have to pay this parking ticket?". Some well-meaning person is just trying to mention this forum and PepiPoo (without actually providing links) and they keep removing his posts. Evidently CAG rules state that you are not supposed to link to "pornographic/inapropioate websites" . Idiots!

Its all a bit sad really, we openly link to CAG and Pepipoo for certain things, and the fight is the parking companies and not each other! Quite rightly said idiots! They don't have the experience for example to fight council tickets, I have seen some of the disjointed advice over there!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

And it still continues. They have just deleted the subversive word "PepiPoo" from a posting , but for some reason have left in a reference to Martin Lewis.

Just saw that. It wasn't even a link so not in breach of forum rules. They do have some little hitlers over there wearing moderator hats. Maybe the guy who runs Pepipoo was shagging the site owners missus and hence the hostility towards them.:D

Just forget CAG, I soon did and it was always the poorest and most annoying forum I had ever tried anyway.

I've been posting on there for a couple of months now, but the advice from the regulars is so bad. I think I'll probably can it.

I started off on there. There are some good people on there, but too many who post without really having much of a clue what they are on about. On some issues they can be good, but it's a bit of a curate's egg.

The dog-in-a-manger attitude towards other sites is pathetic, though. It only gives comfort to the villains- the PPCs, the DCAs, not to mention the local councils who can be as bad as either but with more apparent credibility.

    Rarely post there now.

The only reason I've continued is that the regulars are dishing out advice which is so bad I feel compelled to provide some sensible advice to the people who go on there. The thread about naming MSE and Pepipoo is ridiculous.

One regular expressed disbelief when I suggested a clamping victim should jointly sue the people who hired them, and asked had Principal/Agent law application ever happened before in any real cases. Of course, I was unable to point him towards any real examples as I'd have been banned for referring him to the reviled P*p*poo website!!
