BDI my name BDI my nature?

If the parent spaces are full then why not park in one of the other various side by side spaces which are empty? Oh yes i know that means WALKING, a past-time people these days are so scared of.

If the vehicle parked in the disabled space without VALID reason you in my eyes deserve everything any PPC can throw at you. I know people will now jump on and say "yeh you will say that your a ppc" but this is my biggest bug bare. Its pure laziness and nothing else.

You're just not getting it. Agreed that able-bodied people shouldn't be using disabled spaces, but stuffing another £100 into UKCPS's undeserving pockets is just as bad, and two wrongs don't make a right.

Anyway it looks like the Judge saw through UKCPS's fake "ticket", so the right result.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

    Barge,

I wasnt specifically saying the whole issuing a ticket was acceptable but the OP's partner was taking the Proverbial when they knowingly parked in the disabled space.

Exactly. The "punishment" is out of all proportion to the "crime" and is quite unjustifiable.

Hi, my wife was out shopping on a retail park the other day with our 8 week old son, as she arrived all the parent and toddler spaces were taken up, knowing she had a car seat to take out and did not want to damage any other cars, she parked in a disabled bay for approx 10 mins, when she came back she had a fine for 100 pound from UKCPS , I think its outrageous, should we follow the advise and just ignore this ticket, please help, Thanks

So that makes it okay to park where you like does it and you wonder why she got a ticket!
How would she have felt if someone with no child parked in Parent & Toddler spaces? bet she would agree with them receiving a fine!

It never was a "fine" and P&C spaces are just a marketing ploy by the supermarket and have no basis in law.

Does that give anyone the right to park anywhere they like as it is more convenient then?
