DON'T play their game! These people live by bullsh*t! You DID NOTHING WRONG, so you do not owe ANYONE ANYTHING!
They are NOBODYS trying to pretend they are important.
Treat them with total contempt- I do, and I have never paid ANY of them one penny. I would LOVE it if they took me to court, but, no luck so far despite telling them what they could do with over 80 tickets...0 -

Wow, wish I was as brave as you are with this issue lol, so there's no elevated chance that I will be going to court? And if I were taken to court, what's the chances of the company winning, based on the circumstances I highlighted? Thanks for the help.0 -
They didn't give you a "fine" they gave you an invoice....would you pay me if I sent you an invoice for any advice given? No certainly not ignore them and sit and feel smug that they have wasted more time and energy than you have.....:)A PPC is not just for Christmas...with a few CCJ threats you should have enough toilet paper to last well into the new year.....0

So the fact that they know that I was the driver makes no difference?0

How many more times do you have to be told? You don't owe these bunch of clowns a penny. You are taking them much too seriously. Please believe the many wise folks on here who have much more experience than you over dealings with private parking tickets. Just relax, and please stop worrying. It will never go to court. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
So the fact that they know that I was the driver makes no difference?
None what so ever......it's an unreasonable request for money.."chillax":)
I sense the fear in your posts but beieve in what you read here....this is how they win by putting the fear in peoples minds so they pay up without question .....A PPC is not just for Christmas...with a few CCJ threats you should have enough toilet paper to last well into the new year.....0 -
So the fact that they know that I was the driver makes no difference?
If the claim has absolutely no validity, then the knowledge of who was driving does not get them anywhere. In the million to one chance it goes anywhere near a court, I will be more than happy to come and defend you in person.
So don't worry!! Just get on with your life!
If you really are a worrier then I can draft and send you a letter that will pretty certainly get rid of them, but trust us, they aren't going to waste a court fee on an unwinnable case...0 -
Thanks for all the great feedback everyone, yes I am a worrier and you can properly judge my age by the fact that I attend college lol so I havnt really had to deal with anything like this before... I'm defo gonna hold out and ignore them. Thank you all.0
