So you engaged with their phoney 'appeals procedure' and unsurprisingly got some templated bollox back, complete with a phishing attempt.
Nothing has changed - ignore them, just as you should have done from day 1.
Expect some threatening junk mail to go to the registered keeper, but ignore everything.
Yeah I appealed before I knew about the whole private parking scam thing but I'm a bit concerned that they know I was the driver that day... Any reason for concern?. Thanks for the help.0 -
It's an unenforceable invoice and amounts to a penalty. They can't issue penalties. they have suffered no loss whatsoever as you had a right to park there and have the permit.
edit: Not that it matters, but did you actually say you were the driver or could your car-sharer perhaps have been driving and you were passenger?0 -

I clearly stated that I was the driver(lol I feel like I should apologise to you guys lol, but I didn't realise)... Any implications of that? Thank you.

Don't worry, although them not knowing who the driver was is the "first line of defence" my first paragraph still stands.0

Ok, thanks and on what other basis will they leave me alone eventually? Sorry I'm asking so much, I'm just kind of concerned about the implications of not paying it, hope you understand.0 -

The only implication of not paying is that you will be sixty quid better off.
Ok thanks for the response, I know to look out for and ignore any solicitor letters/threats and things of that nature... I was just a bit concerned regarding the fact that they knew I was the driver for definite.... Thanks for all the help... Great forum.0 -
I have great empathy with your plight as I have recieved my first PPC this week but after coming here my intention is not to have ANY contact with ParkingEye at all.....it is a little disconcerting and worrying that you feel you might be hauled before a court but I have faith in the shared expeiences of the "vetrans" and posters on this forum....it's easy to say but try not to worry it will pass....all things must pass....A PPC is not just for Christmas...with a few CCJ threats you should have enough toilet paper to last well into the new year.....0

Thanks lol and I'll try0 -
I appreciate all of the help guys! But, they already know I was the driver of the car but the fine was a bit unfair due to my permit holder status.... With this info, are they more likely to take further action? Court?0
