Thanks OPs- just booked a couple of nights near Canterbury to take my dh and ds to see the siights there and a night near Eastbourne- brilliant as Easter Sunday and next two nights. Seems unbelievable that they do this in holiday times- but maybe they have less business traffic then?0

Hey Elly- There is a double bed and a pull out sofa bed and something for a smaller child. Ensuite. Cots available I think. The rooms specify smoking or non. They say 3 adults and a child would be ok.elly wrote:can anyone tell me are these family rooms!
They are fine for family trips imo although there is no lounge or restaurant, just the room- you can have breakfast delivered in a bag for £4.95 ish if I remember rightly but we usually go out - they are often near service areas but we go into BHS in a town or something.
They are always, in my experience, clean and reasonably recently decorated. Some of them are a bit near big motorways so can be noisy.0 -
would a family room hold 5, 2 adults and 3 small kids, it greives me paying for another omm when the extra child will sleep in our room anyway.0

Thanks OP, got a room in Guildford for me and the girlfriend to spend a romantic evening lol.0

I can beat that!booked a night at London Docklands - we will be getting £20 return train tickets (£10 each) with the daily mail - so £35 for a night away in London!!!
We booked a £15.00 room at the Covent Garden Travelodge, and National Express from Peterborough return and it's cost us £27.00 total for a night away at Easter. :j0 -
Who did you book the cheap train tickets with?0

They wouldn't want you to- but is one in a cot? It is big enough. Have you checked the site? It saysBONJOEY wrote:would a family room hold 5, 2 adults and 3 small kids, it greives me paying for another omm when the extra child will sleep in our room anyway.
We have rooms accommodating different numbers of people:
A single room has a single bed and can accommodate a maximum of 1 person.
A double room consists of 1 double bed and can sleep a maximum of 2 people.
A twin consists of 2 single beds and can sleep a maximum of 2 people.
A family room consists of a double bed, a single sofa bed and a 5ft pull out bed. They can sleep up to 3 adults or a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under 16).
We are unable to accommodate more than the maximum number of occupants stated above as this is against fire regulations.
Do you provide cots? Yes ,but availability is limited. Please call to book.0
