I have been trying for a few weeks to get something for first week of school Easter holidays near the coast. Preferably Brighton. There were only a very few £15 rooms and not in anywhere you would want to go! So I booked 2 nights in Brighton at £26 per night. Now the new rooms have been released today I could get the same room for £15. There terms prevent me from refunding the original booking so it has not paid me to book early - I have just lost £22:(

Yeah, its awful when that happens! Only been caught a couple of times. I usually book at least 6 months in advance, so it doesn't usually affect me, but I write it down to the fact that I've at least got a room and can plan the rest.

Love to try the Brighton one, whats parking like ? but a bit far to travel for a couple of nights.

When I stayed there last year, you had to pay and extra £5 a night to park in the car park outside. Otherwise, you'd probably have to park a good distance away. I'm trying to book a room there now, but even though it displays the date I want as being available, it won't actually let me book for that day. The hotel itself is basically a converted office block and it's a good walk into town, but at £15 you can't complain.

We went to Brighton after Xmas at £15. It was £5 per day to park. We had the biggest family room I've ever seen though - it was the size of two usual travelodge rooms. I love Brighton and was pleased with the TLodge - thats why I've decided to go back, there is just so much to do there.
MTC NMP Membership #62 - made it back to size 12 after my children & I'm staying here!
  • The dates I want are displayed for Covent Garden but it wont let me book them either - well not unless I pay £95 per night!!!

  • Going to Scotland(North) from Sussex in October (no midges) managed to book a room up and back. Don't like driving for 16 hours at a time so this is very handy.

Managed to get a family room at Covent Garden for 3 nights for £45. One railway are also doing tickets for £6 each way, so, a nice cheap London break.
Stayed at the same lodge last week. Fast asleep at midnight when another couple came into the room. Then I had to show the night staff our booking details. Hope they managed to find somewhere for the others. Make sure you print off a copy of your booking confirmation and take it with you.
