It pays to book well ahead with Travelodge. I find that sometimes you come up with nothing, but if you try later you can get the rooms.

I have been trying for a few weeks to get something for first week of school Easter holidays near the coast. Preferably Brighton. There were only a very few £15 rooms and not in anywhere you would want to go! So I booked 2 nights in Brighton at £26 per night. Now the new rooms have been released today I could get the same room for £15. There terms prevent me from refunding the original booking so it has not paid me to book early - I have just lost £22:(

Thanks OP. Got the e-mail but it had slipped my mind. Booked 3 nights at Warrington Lymm over the Easter weekend.

Have stayed there before, it's a good base to travel around a bit.

Will spend a day at Cheshire Oaks a day at Chester and a day at Knowsley safari park (free with my Tesco vouchers!)

My parents and have been (on new years day) and my sister went for a weekend there recently too. Both said it was great. Very new. I love Bournemouth - only reason we are not going there is because we are going to stay in an apartment down there in summer hols for a week as we had such a fab time there last summer.

The one at Taddy is on the A64 next to a Little Chef. Its about half way between York and Tadcaster. The car park, I believe, is free. Theres a Tesco at the PArk and Ride in York that does a great breakfast (35p an item). Bit isolated for evening meals, tey Tadcaster or York (theres also a pub about a mile further towards York, always looks interesting.
