You Signed the paper work ?
Firstly, you do not sign receipts, you sign contracts.
A contract is a way of limiting your legal rights by contractual obligation.
You should not have signed any contract.

  • We haven't signed anything since we bought the car. Also we hadn't even picked it back up before it was having problems for the second time. The garage we got the car from had been using it to make sure it was okay and it broke on them We're hoping to get the car back this weekend.

I'm pretty sure any business to consumer contract that purported to limit legal rights would be ruled unlawful & unenforceable and I think certain wordings are actually criminal offences
