I just don't get it - cleaned both trays this morning, another perfect pebble in Mia's tray
Archie's on the other handloads (and I mean about 20!) of tiny little bits of wee clumps
I really do wonder if I've got a faulty batch .....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

And I think it may depend on cat's pee.
I had those tiny clumps in both trays - much more with Biocat than with GG.
There was a reason why I switched from Biocat to GG ages ago - looks like we know what it was now as I could not remember hahaha
Still, not a bad litter but again confirmed that nothing beats GG0 -
I only read the first page but have you tried using Asda's own brand of cat litter? I've got 2 cats and I found Asda cat litter is brilliantR.I.P Tom (rescue cat) 17/10/2014 gone but never forgotten :Arun free special boy0

Def the other way around here
I remember why I switched - it was when they changed the BK and the bits became bigger (like the green bag you got) - the Micro stuff only seemed to come in the bags & increased in price to the same as the GG .....
However, I have to say, regardless of clumping - the BK is winning hands down on dust as well
I wonder if they've changed it?
Until the last 2 lots I got, I was really, really happy with the GG and it def clumped better than it is doing now and there are literally clouds of dust when I dig through itGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

oh dear, we have a complete fail with the Biokats here.
I filled one of the trays with it yesterday.
I was not so impressed with the strong bubble gum aroma, and it seems the cats were not either as only one cat tried it out for a wee as opposed to 3/4 normally overnight in that tray.
I just went to scoop it now and it crumbled completely into tiny particles, no clump at all.
I really cannot deal with that.....will email zooplus and see what they have to say.0 -

I don't get it ..... that's exactly the opposite of what's happening here
Lovely solid wee pebbles in Mia's tray of BK again this morning
Archie's GG was the worst yet - wish I'd had my camera as it was literally tiny little bits that hadn't clumped at all!
How can they be so different :huh:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

PaddyPaws - we are somehow in the middle here.
If they pee by the edge of the tray - clumps break when I pick them up.
If they pee in the middle, I can somehow get the clumps out.
But nowhere near as good ad GG - for my boys anyway.
So... will get through the 75325758676460 bags I have now and then go back to GG LOL0 -
Well, bizarrely it seems to have clumped better with more recent use....not as solid as GG for sure but not as bad as the first attempt where the 'clump' just crumbled when I tried to clear it.
the sickly sweet smell makes me gag too.
have emailed zooplus and will see what they offer.0 -
PP the smell will go in a few days - I really smelled it for the first couple of days (esp when looking for clumps) but can't smell it at all now (shame as I liked it!)
I thought it was GR that was sensitive to smells (noted a couple if pages back) but it must've been you I was thinking about:o
Still confused how we can all be having so different experiences - I wonder if how concentrated the Lee is makes a difference etc?
Crumbling clumps is how is describe Archie's GG - can't wait for t to be finishedGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
