Just received the Missha Perfect Cover shade 21, and so far so good!

I wouldn't say it is a miracle cream, you can still see some of the redness on my chin, and it hasn't fully covered a couple of spots (even after putting on a couple of layers), but it has covered the redness on my forehead. Maybe I just need to use a concealer to completely cover those areas though. You can see that I am wearing something, even with the blending, but that's not a huge issue, it's not cakey or anything.
  • Word of warning:

If you decide to buy an asian BB cream from ebay, ask the seller whether the item is genuine before you buy it.

I made the mistake of buying an imitation of the skin79 BB cream. Only found out after I bought it.

I'm far from convinced that Korean BB creams work miracles, but for the price advertised I'd like to give one a try. Colour match is critical; where in London stocks them so I can have a play?
I'm guessing from reading the rest of the thread that they don't come in a wide range of dark shades. Pity as my skin is very yelllow toned and a dab of foundation gives it a nice tanned appearance.

The higher SPF BBs contain higher concentrations of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, which are the ingredients that give a slightly white cast after application (usually the case with physical sun creams).
I don't much fancy going out looking like Casper .
Going to pop into Superdrug to try the new MUA on for £4. Apparently it's a proper BB cream and it's in 3 shades, that you can blend to get the right one. I think the website said its a £1 off at the mo as well, so I might get a medium & dark at that price.
Me too, for that price it's got to be worth trying! :T

I tried the Mischa no 23 - good coverage but a bit ashen until I mixed it with tinted moisuriser, but loved the finish. Now just tried the Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly cream spf 20. Love the cute bottle, I got it from rubyruby76 like other people, and was pleased with speed of delivery. It seems like it will be great for summer as it feels cooling as you put it on, and there is a little spatula in the lid which was a nice touch.

How did you find the shade of the Missha? I've got quite pale skin and I'm not sure if #21 will be too dark or #13 make me look like a ghost. I need the palest in ever other foundation I've had.

I had that same conundrum. I can give two examples to show how pale I am, but don't know if this will help you. The lightest shade of Max Factor foundation is far, far too orange for me, and the 'Light' Garnier BB Cream (samples available online) made me look like I had a run in with the fake tan. I got the Missha 21 and it is pretty much perfect as far as I can see.

It doesn't last the whole day. I applied it around lunch time and it's all but gone now. Maybe if you use a powder or something on it as well it will last a bit longer, but if you are going to be out all day you might need to reapply it.

Hi, I am pale skinned with freckles and dark blonde hair to give you an idea of my colouring.(Tend to buy warm beige/light beige/golden sand type colours in foundation) The no 23 is verging on too light for me, however I have some dark tinted moisturiser and I mix a bit in to get the best colour. If its too dark I mix a bit of primer. Its worth it for the great finish.

I've tried the Skin79 the hot pink one, I have tan, in foundations I am always a medium tan, warm beige tan... always with tan ! It was greyish at first, it did not look natural, made nose too dry, didn't like it.
Today I wore BRTC, the gold caviar one, it matched my skintone perfectly, it did not look like I had a bb cream or foundation on, it is great, spf 50.
My skin is combination, sensitive,. prone to spots.

ok, im a bit hmmmmmmm on this. I quite like the coverage i have from it at the min, despite the fact that my skin is still very red and its showing slightly through it. Its very thick when it comes out of the tube and takes a bit of blending in, but the light was definately the right shade for me. I think i'll maybe be happier with it when my skin is back to normal and I can see the result without focusing on the red sore areas.

I think my only gripe with it so far is that I dont see it lasting long, there seemed to be an awful lot of air in the tube :/

I used my foundation brush to work it in and coverage was much better than using fingers. Also only used a tiny bit that way as well

Ooo thanks both, I will go with #21. I'm really excited to try it, is that sad?:rotfl:
