Sainsburys have 8 cans of Coke for £1.92 too incase Tesco are out :-) The trouble is after seeing this deal this morning I thought I would have a look at what other offers they had out front and saw Game of Thrones on Bluray for £30 and Immortals for £15 Tripple play.
I managed to resist and told myself I will buy Game of Thrones and Immortals second hand when I trade in some games at Cex. Baby steps :-)Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid

I do love a good bargin and offer. I got called the "Voucher Queen" the other day after spending 5 mins working out which worked out cheaper - the two for one on mains or the £20 Clubcard Voucher as part payment.
Time to eat Cream Eggs in the hope feeling sick will curb my urge to go back to Sainsburys on my break.Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid

Today has turned into a mixed bag. While I still have the £2 in my wallet I ended up spending on my card:
£1 for a leaving card for someone at work.
£2 for bosses birthday card.
£3 for Mum's birthday card.
I also remembered I need to give my Step Dad £25 towards her present (we got my mum a kindle)
I was told we were buying flowers for the above leaver £5 contribution needed and flowers for my boss - another £5 contribution needed.
So much for no spending days...£42 spent and I have nothing to show for it at all.
so.... here comes the good news. I have been chasing up Halifax as I can not see my credit card online. This has been going on for weeks and they said they would credit my account with £50!!!!
That leaves me £8 up which will go towards lunch on Saturday with the OH's family.Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid

Managed to stick 58p into my sealed pot and claw £2.5 back towards the leavers flowers so always a bonus.
The remaining £2 in my wallet went last night and need to get Milk, Pepsi Max and hair products so had to take another £10 out.
I am still on track to save an extra £50 this week. I am owed £850 by the boyfriend as well which he will start paying back Friday and for the next two weeks as he is working a second job.
I am hoping to cover my spending money for my mini break, house desposit, share of furniture purchases and repay at least £300 off my loan with this money.
I keep thinking I can treat myself to something or all my hard work saving money which is so stupid as I will only think afterwards that could have come off my card or loan and saved me twice that amount in the long term.
I have set myself the goal of learning to drive (I am 31 and have never moved a car more than 30 meters). It should open up more career options to me as many roles I want need to be mobile. As I am now refusing to buy anything on credit the sooner I can pay things off the sooner I can save for the car about £2k for the one I want and £2k to insure it.... I can have dream's can't i?Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid

It should be much less than £2K to insure your car hun. I was 18 when I passed, got myself a little Corsa and it was £800 for the year. It's now down to £350 at 23
good luck though, having my license is pretty much the best thing I have ever done! xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -
That is for a White 2006 Smart car (I have a thing for white plastic...that and Cows/Disco but thats not related to the car)
I am sure I could get insurance for around £1200 for something cheaper like a banged up 90's Ford KA but its something to aim for in the medium future to keep me motivated. The OH pays £800 for his little 1.2L KA that cost £300 to buy and has had a clean driving and insurance record and 3 years driving experience. That is at the age of 27.Total Debt Feb 2012 [STRIKE]£12,153[/STRIKE] 10674 16.5% Paid

.
that's the same with me, and alot of others as well i'm sure , this time i am taking a longer slower route to debt free ness ... 100 months to be precise , this time it is aimed at changing my thoughts, understandings etc of money and having some money in savings0 -

Jeez louise, really?! I drive a 04 1l Clio and it's £350 and I have 2 years no claims, clean license, no crashes and 23, that seems super high!
Yay for dreams though, got to be specific with dreams so they are more likely to happen.
A marketing company once told me that if they ask you what would you do if you had X amount coming in and you said 'I'd buy a car' they wouldn't employ you but if you said 'I'd buy a Jaguar XK (we have a thing about Jags in our house... don't ask!) in midnight blue' they would consider you! All about dreams and aspirations and what you're working towards!

Not British Racing Green? tut tut
My Mum and Step Dad have a thing for Jags and the first thing they did when they inhertited some money was pay off the mortgage and go buy one. Although the colour is called "Sea Mist" which sounds rather w*nky and like a Dulux Bathroom Paint if you ask me.
I got asked what I would do if I won the lottery during an interview for an Event Management role. I told them I would buy a herd of Cows and live in the country. I somehow got the job any way - I think working at PriceWaterhouseCoopers previously lit up the sales womans eyes about possible contacts.
My cow obession became the subject of one of the cartoon strips my friend draws about me....
