I was woken up by a small boy telling me that one of the cats had just been sick in daddys shoes
need a cup of tea before I can make myself deal with that.
Nice and sunny here so I think I am going to play in the garden mostly.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Daddy doesn't do sick! Well, he does but then is sick himself. We swap so that neither does their most hated jobs
Just realised I only did one load of washing yesterday, so need to get back on top today. WM now on.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Very wise hex! I can deal with most things but any puke, and like your hubby, I have to join in!
Had a lovely day yesterday, nothing much needed doing as all the daily stuff was done - just a quick wipe round and it all looks nice! Got both the sofa throws washed and on the line, and 3 loads of washing - just got that to iron now but won't stress over it!
Will be taking the dogs out to a park with an enclosed area later - can practice the recall we learned yesterday at dog training - should be a laugh! Had an incident with a finger and a dog lead yeasterday - finger got caught up in the lead, I now hav a painful split next to the nail and the whole of the top joint of my finger is swollen and painful - must be more careful next time!
Hope everyone has a lovely day, the weather looks lovely so I'm not wasting it indoors!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
:heart2: RIP Clio 1.9.93 - 7.4.10 :heart2:I WILL be tidy, I WILL be tidy!

Morning lovelies!
Got lots done yesterday inc. hoovering out the car so I'm chuffed with that. Leaving the bulk of the cleaning until Tuesday avo when I'm off but it's mainly hoovering, will do the bathroom today and the kitchen is kept on top of in the main so not much will need doing in there.
Got some newly bought stuff that I have no boxes for/too big for bin bags which is going round to OH's in the next couple of days.
Lovely and sunny today, can't wait to get back home to make use of the washing line, there isn't one here
Need to take the dry clothes off the rads and stick some more on, will tidy the LR too.
2 more days and counting (If I don't count today lol) :j0 -

 hello.
I'd like to thank you for the support I was given on here when I started my new job at the end of December and nearly drowned in the negativity there _pale_ Thanks to your encouragement and support I was able to stick it out, and I have now been moved to a different office where people smile and speak to me :T. Tomorrow sees me begin Week 12,(it began as a 6 week contract and I did 7 weeks in the office from hell before moving!)...I've now been told to keep my head down and keep turning up lol.
I seem to have perfected a work/sleep balance - with eating, usually rubbish, fitted in at random intervals but flying has gone out of the window. Totally.
Once again I'm living in a tip, with BD in residence, and AF visiting more than she should just to jolly things along; I've been looking for an emoticon waving a little flag saying 'Help'
...Ladies, how do you do it? 'It' being work fulltime AND keep CHAOS at bay? I know flylady worked for me when I was unemployed and I felt so much better when the house started to improve, but it's worse now than ever, and frankly I'm feeling overwhelmed by it...BUT not so overwhelmed that I can't hear the flylady in me desperately trying to get through the fug.
So, if you don't mind having a flyfailure in your midst, I'd like to try again....but where on earth do I start?
Sorry to waffle on....hugs and much love to flyladies everywhere. RxIT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme0 -
Good to see you roundtuit, the collective wisdom seems to be to try and do half an hour every day rather than let it build up and blitz at the weekend, plus jobs for everyone. I think the Valli 'don't put it down, put it to away' mantra helps.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

Afternoon all
Busy day in the Dusty household, I'm just back from taking DS3 to a squash match, DS2 away on a bike ride, DS1 away at a golf match, DH away at a half marathon.
Managed to get WM1 on the line before I went, soup in the AGA and reload WM.
Just going to put WM2 on the line now. Sun is out so hope to get some time in the garden after watching a bit of the athletics with lunch. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good afternoon
having a little break from the books
1 load in WM, sides in kitchen wiped down, DW on & washing up done. Dog taken down to the end of the garden for his business. He seems to hold on forever until gets to grass, but we have 3 steps and I am trying to stop him going down there. I am scared he may burst if I don't!! He will have to get used to it after his op as he won't be able to manage the steps for a while
I have joined WW (again). Need to lose 3 stone! 9 lbs to the 1st goal though (small steps). Why is it that as soon as I decide to lose weight, I get so hungry!! carrot & coriander soup is on the hob as a lunchtime filler
