Now i have spent £1.19 today, not happy with myself as the item i bought was a bottle of water, now i normally buy my water in bulk from the supermarket as part of my grocery shop.
I got half way to work and realised i had forgotten to bring one with me. so had to go the local shop, and pay twice what i would have paid in bulk. again. But as i dont drink anything else i couldnt have got through the day.

Am popping into town tomorrow so need to pay for car parking. So hopefully will still come in well under.

Hope everyone has had a good day and enjoy the countdown to the weekend. :D

Hi everyone, thought I should pop in and update whilst the broadband is working, since it has been back it has been very slow and unreliable.

    Sunday NSD
    Monday NSD
    Tuesday NSD
    Wednesday NSD

EverTheOptimist is there anywhere at work where you could store a few spare bottles of water? It would save you having to buy from the expensive local shops, if you forgot to bring one with you another day.

LC I hope your first day back at work went smoothly. Don't try to over do it, you'll benefit no one in the long run.

A very exhausted LC checking in...

Thank you so much for all the well wishes for work. To be honest it was pretty much as I expected, a LOT to do and catch up on. My managers are being absolutely fantastic and say they are aware, I can escalate things to them if people are chasing (some things are very outstanding) and they know it'll take me a long time to get it all back to some kind of managable state. I was prepared to feel stressed at the MOUND of emails and tickets awaiting me, so I sort of controlled that, but what I wasn't expecting was the incredible panic I was feeling as I drove in. Got myself in a right old state in the car! I think I just didn't know what to expect. As I said, predicted fairly accurately the state of affairs and whilst I have a LOT to do, I'm trying really hard not to get stressed about it.

Easier said than done though, right?!?!?!

Anyway, spend of £3.20 in Starbucks as a first day back treat, to ease me in!!! Went to pubsafter work with friends, had a diet coke... bought for me...which was lovely of them!

Hope everyone's had a nice day - it's been really gloomy here, sort of grey and windy and really quite chilly, particularly this evening! I'm so tired, I'm off to bed to have a little read then hopefully a heavy sleep (chance would be a fine thing - my black bags are getting quite ridiculous now, I'm SICK of not sleeping well!)

    Goodnight all, sweet dreams x

    Sun 4 Mar: £3.95 - Boost - smoothie
    Mon 5 Mar: £7.85 - Starbucks - 2 coffees and a cake
Tue 6 Mar: NSD for this challenge (groceries spend)
    Wed 7 Mar: £3.20 Starbucks

    Total so far: £15.00/£25

    Afternoon all

Planned day out today. Had to go into town for some bits. Have been organised and picked up a couple of birthday cards i need in the next couple of weeks. Had to get my sisters birthday presents too. Thankfully i have been saving for birthdays.

Made the mistake of going at lunchtime without having had lunch. Oooops. so bought a small snack.

Total so far this week £4.03/ £10

Baileys Babe - I had thought about it before just never got around to it. I will look at taking some water in tomorrow, i am sure i can stash it somewhere.

    Enjoy your evenings.

Isn't that just a cheap way to buy your mascara, the fact it came with a free magazine is just a bonus. ;)

Today was a NSD for this challenge.
