It just bugs me that I have unlimited gallons of very hot water and then have to pay for elect to heat it up in the WM. I understand now that it's not that simple.. but nevertheless I would feel happier if it had two :D
The good thing here is that I had never heard of LG - and now find they have a really good name, so will get one. ;)ty

Strongly, strongly advise you to do a thorough search on the LG model you have chosen.

Many LG complaints on the go about their washers, including a thread on MSE.

I wish I had never been taken in by the blurb, I spent £1200 on an LG washer and it's companion model dryer. They are awful machines and I will never buy LG again.

Btw, mine is cold fill only too, despite it being advertised as hot and cold.

Who's it advertised as being hot and cold fill? The LG site lists it as cold fill.

I'm very happy with my machine. It's worked perfectly since the circuit board was changed (under warranty by LG).

not sure if the is the right place to post and apologies if not. My candy CN450 washing machine decided to blow up. I called Domestic and General and they gave me a job number. I called Candy Hoover and they sent a engineer. They part needed is no longer available and they said D&G will be in contact. I received a letter saturday saying i would have to pay for a new washing machine and delivery. As you can guess i was very shocked, they told me the plan i had was a depreciating one. I told them i was not happy and i didn't want to go ahead. I also told them i want to cancel the new policy i had recently taken out as i still had time too. They told me this was new for old but i said i felt cheated paying for a policy since 2004 for something that was worthless and to cancel the new policy.

has this happened to any one else?
