the ereader would only cost £80.00 if you were not already buying the Daily Mail I would not have purchased the Mail just to get the points, but we have bought it for many years so the ereader was free for me. Now that I can buy books from Amazon, I am really pleased with it. It has lots of other apps too.
  • Hi In The Swim. Thanks very much for the info on the Kindle App. Works perfectly and I can now download and read books from Amazon without any problem.

Just need to sort out the inability to read library books. Still getting absolutely no useful help from the Daily Mail bunch.
  • Hi pbrinkwo Glad I was of help. If you get yours to work on the library books let me know as I have not cracked that one yet. The app for the free reader is not installed. the manual that I downloaded onto the tablet says that there should be a free reader app but there isn't on mine.
I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions 2 onto my computer but I can't read the book that appears on the tablet. It says my tablet is not activated - or words to that affect.
  • Extra info for the above post - On the freewarelovers site click on the Kindle and then chose older versions on the list. scroll down the list till you get to the correct one (2.0.2. 102300153)

    Works a treat
  • Thank you so much In the swim - was 2 minutes away from ringing Daily Mail myself.
    Kindle app has worked brilliantly!
Has anyone else had problems downloading apps from the Pandigital 'app market'? Most apps that I have dried downloading have a notification of 'cannot parse the package' or something similar? I think you need more up-to-date software to download these kind of apps, but no idea how to do this?
Also wondering - how do you know which version of the 'older app' to download on freewarelovers? Hoping to download all my apps through there, but not sure which version I should download..
    Thank you in advance!
  • Yes, I too have encountered this problem. the app downloads but then when you try to install it it says it cannot parse. it. Would like to know why too.
  • I have just reached the 8000 mark and was thinking of sending for the
e-book reader..the thing is that i don't fancy the one that's currently on offer and i was wondering if this is the one that i will receive or has it been replaced because of the limited available notice that it always shows
    Can anyone help please
