Sorry about your news Bobble Hat - take care of yourself.

I sowed some parsley, basil and chives on Saturday as well as starting my tomatoes off. I sowed some rocket outside too so I'm wishing it all the best of British for the next few days of bad weather :o

Sunday was a wash out as DS had 2 birthday parties.

I was a lazy moo yesterday and have no excuses whatsoever!

Anyhoo, today I have prepared a Sausage and Bean casserole and it is in the SC - I'm looking forward to the lovely smell when I come home tonight!

    Have a good day everyone,

    ((((((((((((((((((Bobble Hat)))))))))))))))))))

Not going too badly overall here. I'm definately more productive than I was, although always room to improve!

Going to make myself go to the gym today for my hour. I've been putting that off for too many days already!

Thanks everyone, I am fine, really :)

So yesterday, did not do planned activities but did clear half of the pruning waste that I'd cleared at the weekend, just in case it snows! And green bin gets collected tomorrow.

Plus cooked mushroom and sun-dried tomato risotto (store cupboard and freezer challenge this week), doesn't sound like a big deal but I'm not very good in the kitchen and Hubby usually cooks when he gets home from work (quite late too), so last night he had a lovely hot dinner waiting for him. Oh and cleared up lots of puppy sick!! Need to keep an eye on poorly dog today.

Lunchtime I need to plant out some bedding plants I bought this morning, clear more of the pruning waste. Then tonight I need to clean the bathroom and vacuum the upstairs rooms.

Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs, but if they really are bedding plants it's too early to put them out yet, especially with the forecasted cold spell. First hint of frost and they'd be dead!

Thanks the_cat. I suddenly wondered that when I bought them this morning. It's geraniums, lobelias and something else... should I store them then until planting?

phoenix what is this 30 day shred you talk of???

It's an exercise DVD by Jillian Michaels. There are 3 levels, and you do level 1 for 10 days, level 2 for 10 days etc. It's only around 25 minutes of exercise but my God does she make you work! I swear, this morning, muscles I haven't been aware of in years woke up and screamed. I took my measurements yesterday, and I'm going to measure at the end of the Shred. I've seen good results online from other people.

I did the Shred again this morning, made a call to work about my return on Thursday, but otherwise haven't been productive. But that is OK, I'm enjoying my last couple of days of relative freedom.

Yes deffo too early for either of those! I'm down south and wouldn't chance it till at least second week in May. If you are further north it might only be safe a bit later than that. Basically once all chance of frosty mornings is gone

You need to keep them in a greenhouse or on a windowsill till then. Better yet, I'd return them to the garden centre and rebuy at a more suitable time

Awesome! Thank you, I'm a novice gardener, bought them in excitement in Sainsburys this morning as on offer and I'd cleared my first deck border. Will pop them on a windowsill until May. The others are freesias.

It's an exercise DVD by Jillian Michaels.

I bought this about 6 months ago after seeing people rave about it on here. It's intensive but short so really good if you've not got a lot of time in your day. I must add this to my 60 min list :rotfl: :rotfl:
