Welcome back!!
Apparently we need several attempts at changing a habit before we finally manage it (cycle of change) which explains why I've re-joined slimming world about 58 times

Saturday's schedule of productiveness
Spent 60 minutes in my bedroom tidying up. This is the sort of tidying up that doesn't usually get done. It involved clearing a 'hot spot' (for you fly-ladies) which is the top of a big cupboard. I also tidied under the bed which was completely disgusted and I still haven't finished! But you can actually see the benefits now when you go up the stairs to the bathroom you could see into our bedroom and all the carp under the bed, whereas now - the carp isn't there so it looks much tidier. Also found some bedding which I've put in a black binliner ready for a visit to the recycling shop. I also found £2 under the bed which started off my holiday savings fund.
Then I spent 15 minutes on the phone to the Nationwide chasing up why a balance transfer hadn't been done, and then giving all the details that I had given 2 weeks ago when I asked for it to be done.....
Today's productiveness is 15 minutes spent filling in some vetting forms that I have to take to a job interview tomorrow which I guess is only productive if I get the job.
I need to find the motivation to do half an hour's worth of productiveness today too, but it's just such a nice day...:rotfl:Emergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target0 -
So maybe I haven't quite got round to looking at my budget...
I didn't waste the hour though. I mowed the lawn and did some weeding that desperately needed doing.
Ok, I haven't quite got my head out of the sand just yet, but at least I have the shovel on stand-by!0 -
Hello Peeps,
I need to join this thread. Am a very big procrastinator too. have just spent best part of 1 hour reading the whole thread... but that is positive. Am going to start this as soon as I have completed this. which will include WALKING to the cash machine before doing my errands. Peg out 2 lots of washing or more. The bathroom is definately the target of today whatever it takes and then get some ebay items listed. Not too much of a telly fan but I do have my moments watching rubbish!!
Thanks lamarsi - how simple are some things:TThis week extra payment

Hi folks!
Sorry I've been a bit AWOL - in my defence I've been very productive
On Saturday I did over an hour in the garden - beautiful weather meant that I got the chance to shift a lot of weeds and leaves. The table and chairs are out on the decking - bring on the summer
On Sunday we took the lazy lab for a very long woodland walk - we wre out for well over 2 hours and I'm happy to class that as my productive time because it would have been spent in front of the tv otherwise!
Erm...yesterday I might have come a bit unstuck. DH is off this week so most of the stuff I would have to do is getting done by him anyway. I did make a tea loaf though.
I've done a wash load today and will put it on the line in a bit - that should give me some ironing for tonight and I'm sure I can find something to fill the remaining time. Perhaps some polishing. Oh and the bathroom would benefit from a wipeover. I'm sure DH and the kids think the bathroom is some special sort of "self cleaning" room!
Have a good day everyone.AF since 10.04.11

Well I made a good start yesterday. Did a list...brushed one of the dogs for good 10 mins. other too busy bouncing round (daft collie). Did the errand I would have found an excuse not to do..did some hand washing. pegged out 3 lots of washing. Just need an extention lead to do ironing outside DH task. paid a bill. Wrote letter to silly debt collector firm, they dont listen on the phone:mad:. Used the bath water to water the garden and we not even on a water meter, just seems a shame to waste it. Didnt do the bathroom as intended.:o I did however finish reading a book I started some time ago did take 3 hrs though, and do you know what I didnt feel guilty!!;).
Today is the bathroom and uploading 5 items for ebay.
