Possibly swede/turnip (different areas call it different things) or parsnip, which i imagine would be very nce in a cake as it has a natural sweetness to it xxxVery proud to be Strip club member No 430 -

Its not a DSLR........can't afford what I want (nikon D300) or the bag full of lenses to go with it. Reckon what I actually want
would set me back around **cough cough** £7k so plumped for the £240 fujifilm HS20 bridge camera with 24mm-720mm lens already bolted on. Struggling with it a bit at the moment, but its forcing me to learn more about settings and what they actually do which is not a bad thing I guess.
Thanks for asking.
I am truly inspired!! I too have a fuji, s5200 (Ithink!) bridge camera also. I paid a very cheap £120 for mine! -years ago though! I love the nikon D300 (lenses!) too, but finances will probably never allow it! (hence why I'm on here!) Do you post on the fuji forums? I got loads of tips from there when I got my camera but I haven't visited for about 5 years! (I've boycotted BT so been offline!) They used to be very helpful over there.
Please note, I'm not saying you need help because your pics are amazing, but as you say, you never stop learning!!
Please keep posting your photos, I love 'em!Gwrys yn Kernow! :j0 -

That's what we have done, well wrapped. Hope that's ok.
Thanks everyone for all the rat stories, it's actually making me feel a lot better about the whole situation knowing how much more common it is. I guess it's not the sort of thing that would usually make a good conversation.
The mention of decking though is a good point, next door but one had this put in last year and found they had a problem under it, no surprise really as we all live with a wildlife bank along the back of our houses, just seperated by a small lane so very easy for them to make home somewhere a bit more comfortable.0 -

Can i just second what has already been posted - your pictures are amazing - you should be justifiably very proud of yourself, i bought myself a nikon bridge camera last year but have had no where near as much success as you, maybe i should be putting more hours into it xxVery proud to be Strip club member No 430 -

Is it mango?Reminds me, squirrels can do terrible damage in lofts. House down the road from us had a fire when the occupants were abroad, whole of the roof was gone next morning we didn't even hear anything to the suprise of all the neighbours. But we have secondary double glazing which is very good at cutting out any noise.
The cause of the fire was officially that the squirrels had chewed through the electical wires. Had had gone unnoticed as they lived in Tenerife for half the year.Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Had a look in store today and the Disney section was empty. Here's hoping it's not so empty in a few weeks timeMind you I have to be careful where I glitch as I think I'm persona non grata in a local-ish store after DTD yesterday

Reciently I've spotted one still running about the same aisles and in the same store!!! Needless to say I tend to only go in there for select items and mostly non-food ones at that
Surprise me - KnaG or Nb'da?
I had a blue bottle problem recently which resulted in 20 kills in a week. Most were dopey and just sat there waiting to take their last breath but I never did find the source. Given the scratching in the ceiling above the living room, I'll hazard a guess that a mouse died up there.
Got some more Glade stuff today and spotted the only Mulled Wine thing that hasn't been reduced. Wondered if my luck would be in and the Freshmatic would scan at a lot less than £14.29. Nope, they really were still looking that price. Found the Thorntons Mint Collection - scanned at £2.99. No glitches or DTDs. All very civilised0 -
I love your pics FK they are stunning!
I do hope you got the camera on a DTD though...:D
Actually no, even with the ood SEL's recently on the same camera in T's it was cheaper in Jessops. It was however paid for in full by a certain Mr Denby............a secret benefactor apparently0 -
