No idea on the cake but would like a slice please ?
    Carrot?
    Fudge?
    Pumpkin?
    Could it be carrot cake?

Thank you everyone, it's unusual as a cake ingredient, think a little more left field....you're kind of on the right track with carrot (alteast with the colour ;)) I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out as I thought it might be a disaster, it's very moist and scrummy! :D

In our old house we had noises in the loft and it was squirrels so it could well be them, they climb up flat walls of the house and can get in tiny holes:eek:

Reminds me, squirrels can do terrible damage in lofts. House down the road from us had a fire when the occupants were abroad, whole of the roof was gone next morning we didn't even hear anything to the suprise of all the neighbours. But we have secondary double glazing which is very good at cutting out any noise.

The cause of the fire was officially that the squirrels had chewed through the electical wires. Had had gone unnoticed as they lived in Tenerife for half the year.

:T Awesome pics again FK. I have a bit of an ameteur obssession with photography. Mine are never up to your standards though! :o I think you've been asked recently, but I've been skim reading, (too much beer + rugby this weekend!) What camera are you using? I'm guessing it's a DSLR? Would be a bleddy beauty otherwise to get pics like this!

The nice thing with photography is it never ends....you never reach 'full knowledge' and I'm just scratching the surface.

Its not a DSLR........can't afford what I want (nikon D300) or the bag full of lenses to go with it. Reckon what I actually want
would set me back around **cough cough** £7k so plumped for the £240 fujifilm HS20 bridge camera with 24mm-720mm lens already bolted on. Struggling with it a bit at the moment, but its forcing me to learn more about settings and what they actually do which is not a bad thing I guess.

    Thanks for asking. :)

Well done BarleySugar! I made the cake following this exact recipe but I had a tub of Philly expiring in a couple of weeks so thought I'd made a cream cheese icing and to pep it up a little more I added a couple of spoonfuls of peanut butter :D

Mine looks nothing in comparison to the original though :o:o:o

Any budding bakers, I strongly recommend Sweetapolita, she's fantastic :A

Aww thank you...no not TCO on this occasion though it definitely will be at some point, I've thought about how I can incorporate them in a cake, choc orange brownies seem like a good option ;) But that'll be after I've made my 2 Mary Berry's! :o:o:rotfl:
