:hello:I failed again - got too far back and couldnt bear the thought of reading for hours/days before I catch up! I had the flu, and then larygitis which is only just starting to improve - its not easy keeping 6 kids under control with no voice!!

I see I have missed some great bargains, and hubby was just about ready to run up to tesco to see what he could find...but I stopped him! We are both overweight and I am trying to do something about it and I know the temptation to eat the stuff would be too much! No matter how cheap!!

Bit of advice wanted if you can help me?! The kids were on the computer a fair bit the last few days while I have been poorly and I now have some sort of 'thing' opening up tabs, or at least trying to. Have done a full scan with avast, downloaded spybot, still having issues. Since spybot and the scans it isnt managing to open the tabs as often as before but I have the 'Warning we blocked the blah blah' thing popping up every few seconds, driving me mad! Any help really appreciated!

If Avast and spybot didn't find and fix it have you tried going into control panel, add/remove programs and see if anything new has been installed since the problem started? You can sort by date installed and just remove anything you don't recognise. Failing that you could ask over on the techy board, they are really good at this sort of thing.

Morning all, new deal for you all, not T's but if you take any pair of old shoes into Brantano in ANY condition, they will give you £10 off a £40 transaction.

I've just been in and had two pairs of trainers put aside totalling £44 and have popped home to find an old pair of pumps or something to get my £10 off.

I think it's a great deal, I think also you can do this more than once but you can only use one £10 coupon per transaction so if you have lots of kids to kit out or something, you need to make sure to split the transactions, I don't think that'll be a problem for you lot though :rotfl:
so happychappy could have got a tenner for his:rotfl:

Andrea my opinion is that one easy list while it makes it easy for us, it makes it FAR to easy for

A - Mr T staff to see and remove "offending" articles before we can get them:eek:

and B - Lurkers to take everything before we get there!

All our hard work would be wasted as nobody would get anything! And that would be a shame.

last time we tried this on "facebook" WE FOUND TROUTS HAD PHOTOCOPIES OF THE EXACT LIST IDENTIFIED BY THE COMPILER OF THE LIST ON CHECKOUTS IN MORE THAN ONE STORE:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Thanks to the OP for the big purple ones. Managed to find 6 today. Would have liked more but none left. They would be really handy for the pink and purple sweet table i am having at the weddng. Hopefully find some more soon.

Had to book a hire car to travel down to Penzance on Sat to try on my wedding dress. As i have to leave very early on Sat I am picking it up after work on Friday. My 1st thought was "oh i can visit some T's on Friday night that i can't normally get to". Very sad indeed.:D

Purdita, have been to any T's near me recently? Since i sold the car i haven't been able to to get to R'borough or L Mill.

No, I've stuck with Trouty Newt0n A88ot as they have a scanner.....But it's been really rubbish there lately....so I might head off down the A38. I should have arranged to collect my T Direct duvets from L Mill but I didn't think so I've got to go to Troutsville for them!
I didn't notice any of the chocolates last night and I was having a good look at all of them. It's a long way to go if you don't find anything....and doesn't justify the petrol costs
You be careful going over that Tamar bridge.....always think it strange that they make you pay to come "home" again :rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Evening everyone, hope you are all ok, not had chance to get on since Monday evening so not sure if anything has happened. Will be back in a while when I have had chance to catch up.

Quick question, does anyone know where I might find the Denby scanning for a DTD. My DS1 has managed to break some of my plates yesterday and this would be quite nice for an everyday one. TIA
They are half price again in my local, they are also selling plates singly
    :(

see the flippin pricechecker hasn't changed since i last used it in the DTD days:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

i am so lazy my kids will pick up wombled reciepts but the date goes past the 28days while they are in my handbag

eventually got round to entering a few yesterday
i see when you input any old email it still works but you have to press the back button and input the info a few times before it spews out the comparison?

or is it just me (before in dtd days i used to press the back button and the numbers would still be in the boxes, not sure why but this time they all disappear and have to input them again:(:(:(:(:()
