    Only managed to find the Thorntons choccies, which is frustrating as they say Xmas on the front so not too useful for gifts.... Really fancied the Dessert chocs but never mind. The guy running the SS tills was more than happy to put them through in mulitiples, which was handy cos scanning 46 boxes would have taken a while.........

    Take them out of original box and put them in homemade box!
  • Once the rain gave way today, the cloud left and the late afternoon was quite pleasant if still rather cold with the breeze. I took the opportunity to take the dog out for a nice walk and took a few snaps while out. Nothing partcularly amazing but just thought you might like them............

    just just just seen this on the main board, from madboy: Hello

    Just popped into my local Tesco Express and bought two MaltEaster Bunnies for 60p, the bunnies are often on offer at 2 for £1 but Tesco tills are also deducting another 60p for the Easter 2 for £1 offer. The full price for one bunny is 70p

    Enjoy!

    anyone know about it...

    (mmm... the list of chocies grows!!!)
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Mmmm 40p sounds really expensive

    see the flippin pricechecker hasn't changed since i last used it in the DTD days:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    i am so lazy my kids will pick up wombled reciepts but the date goes past the 28days while they are in my handbag

    eventually got round to entering a few yesterday
    i see when you input any old email it still works but you have to press the back button and input the info a few times before it spews out the comparison?

    or is it just me (before in dtd days i used to press the back button and the numbers would still be in the boxes, not sure why but this time they all disappear and have to input them again:(:(:(:(:()

    This still works for me on IE but not any other browser.
    If you're not scared, you're not paying attention

    First things first.

    3Dogs, I am so so happy for you getting Mr 3Dogs home. Reading your posts this last wee while and seeing how amazingly you are coping has been inspirational. Go you! :T :T :T

    Edit: Oops! My bad manners! Welcome to all the newbies and lurkers. Funny how you all appear the night everyone is posting pics of blokes in their drawers. :p

    Thanks OB ....... and I now regret not having time to read the thread even more .............. gonna have a read back after posting to find these tasteful pics ;);)

    Evening guys, yes, Alan is now back home where he belongs :D:D:D:D

    The day started badly as I was supposed to drive our van over to mate's at 9 am for him to fix but ..................... I slept in :o He rang at 10 am and I said sorry and that I would get up then but ................ I fell asleep again :o I eventually got up at 11.30 am :o:o I rang and he asked me to ring insurers and get his name added to policy and his partner would run him over to collect it, which I did ................. and he had it back to me around 3 pm, all fixed :j :j

    Mr 3Dogs rang me several times as the day went on and was still waiting for them to sort everything out for his discharge, then I rang him just before 4 pm and he had been discharged and was downstairs awaiting hospital transport (car). While we were talking, the driver came for him and he arrived home at 4.40 pm :D The porter wondered what was up as all the nurses and other staff rushed over when he was taking Mr 3Dogs downstairs, to say bye-bye and wish him all the best. He said 'you must be special as they don't normally do that' ;);)

    I took Mr 3Dogs on a mini tour at home to show him the work I had done, and he was astonished that I'd been able to manage to do it, but very pleased that it was done ;) He had 3/4 of a Rustlers cheeseburger (;) ;)) and I sorted out his tablets into containers, which took some time as he has to take 32 tablets a day plus a fibragel-type thing twice a day. Oh, and he fell in love with Molly straight away, just like I knew he would ;)

    He relaxed sitting in his chair, which is a high-backed support one, watching tv and chatting, but has gone to bed now as he is shattered just with the 'coming home' and I hope he can sleep ok. We did have panic and tears earlier when he tried to change his ileostomy bag when it leaked, and he couldnt manage to do it, even after 2 tries. I heard him sobbing in the bathroom so went in and helped him, suggesting that he lie down on the bed to do it as that's the only way he'd done it in the hospital. I sorted it out for him, but he said he'd got upset earlier because he 'hadn't wanted me to have to do this for him', bless him. It is going to take a long time for him to get used to all this and I will help him anyway and anytime he wants me to. We will get through all this together :D

    I rang Macmillan advice centre today and left a message explaining our position and that we needed financial advice/help, so I am hoping that they get back to me tomorrow

    I have washing in now but will be going to bed when that finishes, as I am still shattered. With doing so much heavy work, which I don't normally do, I have been taking my full whack of painkillers (tramadol) and they make me sleepy, so it is the combination of the tablets and the work that has me dropping off to sleep at the drop of a hat :(

    Thanks for the lovely posts and messages, which I haven't replied to yet

    Now, I am off to read back a while, looking for men in their undergarments :D:D
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(

    I would like to make a complaint about my "newly blah refurbished blah" local store Upp3r B04t . Extras are supposed to be big and scruffy with lots of [STRIKE]tat[/STRIKE] bargains and old stock that is now 1p but no.

    I have had a couple of cheap DTD's in there but it is wasting my time now as there are never any 1p items, OOD SELs or anything else of interest.It's about time they sorted themselves out.Even the carpark is clean of wombles!

    Do you think I should write to the manager about this issue?

    Dear Mr Mark Black...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    :) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!
