All over the country, in a town near you, mse'ers are at work, quietly scanning and going about their business, relieving MrT of his 1p goodies;);)trying to inconspicuosly pay for their items as fast as they can on ss!!!
:rotfl::rotfl::o If only.... we went, we scanned, we failedzilch - we is not posh enough in our store for nice boxes of chocs
But did get another box of Cadburys Chocolate biscuits 75p & Uno game scanning at £2.50 (i know not 55p..) :T

Thanks OB ....... and I now regret not having time to read the thread even more .............. gonna have a read back after posting to find these tasteful pics
Evening guys, yes, Alan is now back home where he belongs
The day started badly as I was supposed to drive our van over to mate's at 9 am for him to fix but ..................... I slept inHe rang at 10 am and I said sorry and that I would get up then but ................ I fell asleep again
I eventually got up at 11.30 am
I rang and he asked me to ring insurers and get his name added to policy and his partner would run him over to collect it, which I did ................. and he had it back to me around 3 pm, all fixed :j :j
Mr 3Dogs rang me several times as the day went on and was still waiting for them to sort everything out for his discharge, then I rang him just before 4 pm and he had been discharged and was downstairs awaiting hospital transport (car). While we were talking, the driver came for him and he arrived home at 4.40 pmThe porter wondered what was up as all the nurses and other staff rushed over when he was taking Mr 3Dogs downstairs, to say bye-bye and wish him all the best. He said 'you must be special as they don't normally do that'
I took Mr 3Dogs on a mini tour at home to show him the work I had done, and he was astonished that I'd been able to manage to do it, but very pleased that it was doneHe had 3/4 of a Rustlers cheeseburger (;)
) and I sorted out his tablets into containers, which took some time as he has to take 32 tablets a day plus a fibragel-type thing twice a day. Oh, and he fell in love with Molly straight away, just like I knew he would
He relaxed sitting in his chair, which is a high-backed support one, watching tv and chatting, but has gone to bed now as he is shattered just with the 'coming home' and I hope he can sleep ok. We did have panic and tears earlier when he tried to change his ileostomy bag when it leaked, and he couldnt manage to do it, even after 2 tries. I heard him sobbing in the bathroom so went in and helped him, suggesting that he lie down on the bed to do it as that's the only way he'd done it in the hospital. I sorted it out for him, but he said he'd got upset earlier because he 'hadn't wanted me to have to do this for him', bless him. It is going to take a long time for him to get used to all this and I will help him anyway and anytime he wants me to. We will get through all this together
I rang Macmillan advice centre today and left a message explaining our position and that we needed financial advice/help, so I am hoping that they get back to me tomorrow
I have washing in now but will be going to bed when that finishes, as I am still shattered. With doing so much heavy work, which I don't normally do, I have been taking my full whack of painkillers (tramadol) and they make me sleepy, so it is the combination of the tablets and the work that has me dropping off to sleep at the drop of a hat
Thanks for the lovely posts and messages, which I haven't replied to yet
Now, I am off to read back a while, looking for men in their undergarments
Glad to hear you have had some good news with Mr3Dogs coming home, you certainly deserve it. :A:grouphug:0 -

If Avast and spybot didn't find and fix it have you tried going into control panel, add/remove programs and see if anything new has been installed since the problem started? You can sort by date installed and just remove anything you don't recognise. Failing that you could ask over on the techy board, they are really good at this sort of thing.
Thanks! Did try the contol panel route and nothing there I could see in the last couple of days! Will try the tech boards if I dont get lost goin over there lol!0 -

Evening all :hello:
Popped to my local earlier and still lots of Promises on the shelf...so I bought one for my nurse I see every week for bloods. Scanned a few things including the Swiss bar and Tobelle again, both still full priceScanned a few other things but no joy, the one thing I didn't scan right next to the Galaxy Promises was Honeycomb TCO's as I looked at the packaging and it's a new design since Xmas so thought it couldn't possibly be 1p......:o
Came home after my bloods and did my written application for a job and the Thorntons Mint collection had been reported so popped in again on the way to delivering the application and all I found was a Toy Story stocking for 1pStill lots of Promises on the shelves!
Onto an Express, scanned the Family Circle biccies with Xmas branding, scanning at £6+ Picked up a Kinder Bueno TMF. QS big purple one boxes x 3 all empty!
Onto another Superstore and I literally scanned the ENTIRE chocolate and seasonal aisle!!! If something gets reported now for 1p that I missed I will be GUTTED!:o I found zilch! I must have scanned in excess of 50 boxes of chocs and clocked up a few miles and still left empty handed
I found 2 bags of Spogz (halloween stock) and though ah well atleast that's something....scanned at 40p!!
Onto another Express full box and then some of Big Purple ones which are Mum's fav and dated Sept so I bought 33 :rotfl:Leaving over 40 on the shelf
3rd Express another Kinder Bueno TMF, nothing else to be found.
4th Express nothing to be found.
A's, S's and M's x 2 no decent whoopsies whatsoever!
Came home, looked at the last post and what did it say?? 1p honeycomb TCO's!!! And what does my store have in abundance?! Yep you guessed it....so no sooner had I taken my shoes off and I was off out again and this time home with 15 TCO's leaving about 30 on the shelf.
So that's 25 Promises, 33 QS big purple bars, 15 TCO's and a Toy Story stocking in 2 days.....I have a SERIOUS problem!!!:eek::eek: Like you celebrate and QOC for me it's the thrill of the chase, I love buying all this stuff and sharing it around knowing I'm making so many people happy and it's cost me next to nothing:D
One thing to say, all you fake tan fans....the best one I've ever used has to be St Tropez BUT there's a cheapy alternative called St Moritz which I find fantastic and T's are currently selling it off both Medium and Dark for £1.99. It's a foaming mousse and you apply it with a mit ideally, really good stuff :T
I see the forum is closed from 1am so I'll flick through what I can, hope you're all having a lovely evening and plenty to report on the 1p front :A
ETA: I really really really need to have more manners!! I'm so sorry I forgot to say THANK YOU so much to everyone reporting all the 1p items, I live in hope that one day it'll be me! THANK YOUxxxx

No, I've stuck with Trouty Newt0n A88ot as they have a scanner.....But it's been really rubbish there lately....so I might head off down the A38. I should have arranged to collect my T Direct duvets from L Mill but I didn't think so I've got to go to Troutsville for them!
I didn't notice any of the chocolates last night and I was having a good look at all of them. It's a long way to go if you don't find anything....and doesn't justify the petrol costs
You be careful going over that Tamar bridge.....always think it strange that they make you pay to come "home" again :rotfl:
Thanks, i am off to those 2 on Friday night, will let you know if i see anything.
I really begrudge paying £1.50 to come home. Maybe because i am a tight ***
