evening Elite!
just popped in quickly before bath :P
no luck with 1p choc, me to you xmas range got down to 75% off in the store I went to so I got the mug+socks for 2.25gbp(I needed a biggish mug for work :P)
Snap-ant: yes, the scar is appendix one, bf had it 2(or 3?) years ago just when we went on holidays(and his old company made him take more paid holidays for the recovery time instead of sick leave!), the other scars around his chest are from when he went for a swim in a pond when he was little/young? and there was a broken bottle!
he was with a friend his age and cycled a few km all the way back home with his chest covered in blood and some deep cuts
andreavinne: an 'all out on a plate' list is a big no-no for many reasonsmy tip for managing full time work, shopping, cooking and even the odd film and cuddle
is a phone with a generous internet allowance
2 pages read on the tube to work(doesn't work when cycling sadly, someone cares to invent something that reads the thread out loud for you?LOL), a few when LO is asleep, a few in starbucks and so on...
you'll get used to it, don't panic just yet
calmspirit: I use the St Ives apricot scrub and I find it really good for making the skin nice and smooth, I tried lots of scrubs but this one is the best one imo

Hello everyone !!
I've not checked in for weeksBeen so busy with all the house stuff, we're in the middle of having our extension built and its madness (messy madness) here.
Hope you're all well
The reason I'm checking in is because DH has just come home from Ts with 15 xmas tubes of fruit pastels at a whopping 1p each
This may well be old news, as I've not checked back - but thought I'd let you know
I am seriously missing my crazy T missions but its all about bricks and blocks and building sand here atm, not very fun at all x x0 -
Also I wanted to get the LYB card from BS but will wait until the free body mist is back in stock
and considering the lovefilm trial too...
will have a look tomorrow, luckily only work till 3.30pm0 -
Evening everyone, hope you are all ok, not had chance to get on since Monday evening so not sure if anything has happened. Will be back in a while when I have had chance to catch up.
Quick question, does anyone know where I might find the Denby scanning for a DTD. My DS1 has managed to break some of my plates yesterday and this would be quite nice for an everyday one. TIAIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
actually for me i have so much of everything that i really don't NEED anything so if i go and i get something now it's a bonus, i am working pretty much 10-12 hour days now as well as looking after my 3 kids all under 10 in the week, I used to spend my days off scurrying round one T's after another then making myself miserable when i travelled miles but found nothing
TBH in my job I can earn more in one hour than i spent 4 days faffing about with SSm coupons. i don't think I do it for the money, i think it's more the thrill of the chase. Sorry to those who are really struggling with money, I am deeply in debt with a bad investment i have made but i am also earning and thankfully have a job where i can find work easily even in the current climate.
I count my blessings for what I have, I still followed it even when I was abroad and when I banned myself from T's. But I won't be rushing out tonight or abandoning my kids just for some 1p chocolate. If that means more needy lurkers getting them good luck to you guys. Hope you find something next time xx
i count myself very lucky that i am in the same position, i dont actually need anything, so again, for me, its the thrill of the chase. I like the adrenaline rush of "pulling it off" without being trouted.
I just get p'd off when trips like today's just seem like a wild goose chase
I also get a buzz out of sharing information with selected friends and family. TBH i think i get more out of that than anything else. My dad's face was a picture when i told him that the smart trousers, shirt and tie i got him cost me all of £1.04. Thats worth more than anything in my book
For me, it also means that for the first time in my 34 years, I have a savings account that actually has some nice money in it.
