Morning all.....dreary old day down here so won't be venturing far.
Hugs to 3Dogs...what an awful dilemma to be in regarding your pooches.
Loved the toes though!
To those of you who are thinking of getting a Kobo Vox with your WHS vouchers......Hmmmm..I think if I'd parted with actual cash for mine, I would be disappointed.
For a start it doesn't recognise Adobe Digital Editions which is what the Kobo touch uses to download the free books from British libraries.
So I don't know how I'm going to get around that one. Is there anyone techie here who can suggest something please?
If you want it primarily to read books on, I would suggest you buy the touch instead.
It was OK for internet though, and better than trying to read stuff on your phone.
I've not tried Youtube yet, but it doesn't allow me to watch netflix on it, which again was a bit of a disappointment as I was told you could watch films.
Again, perhaps someone can tell me if there's something I should be doing.
I might have a look on the techie board and see if there's anything on there about them....could (probably!!) just be me being useless!
Oh and FWIW I think Redfox is a vixen!
Did you not watch the video review that someone posted? The review said the thing was pretty dire and limited to what it could do.:(
My advice, take it back and get a refund, you may even get a refund in cash/on to your credit card if you're lucky.;)0 -
Right you lot I'm off to T's in a bit
How many Duracell do you dare me to get on DTD in one transaction?!
Celebrate you are sssoooooooooooooo back!:T:T:T:THappyChappy84 wrote: »And the thought of MSE Andrea being about made me spring clean behind my sofa. I put the blanket in the wash but it's disappeared.

Good boy;)HappyChappy84 wrote: »I'm thinking of heading to T's to see if I can get some more free batteries. I don't know what I'm going to do with them all though. I only have two things that take batteries, one is a torch and the other is a remote control for my lights (I'm lazy).
They last for years and their free, say no more:)
Just got back from T's, did a sort of proper shop and with the aid of vouchers and deals shop down from £59 to £32, happy with that as got some "proper" stuff;) Got loads of 50p sale stuff again, it's getting addictive now:otrying to hunt it out and also got some Airwick Plug ins mulled wine & cinnamon apple for £1.60 ish, can't find the receipt for these:cool: they've got £1 off refill voucher on the side and I'm sure you can get a voucher for £1 from airwick, making them about 60p each:T
I bought two packs of boxers today as well for a £1 each but was charged £2 each. Went to CS who refused me DTD as they were in the sale. Didnt want to kick up a fuss as its my local but rang HO when I got in just to check and my store were fibbing as I thought and I should have got DTD, sale or no sale. She told me to go back instore and get my £2 refund from CS. I won't because I'm not raising my profile for £2 but if anyone gets told no DTD because of the sale, you're being fibbed to;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

talking of tumble driers, i had to dig mine out this morning as with having no central heating, and it tipping down with rain outside, I have nowhere to dry clothes properly :-( All the launderettes around here have closed down.
I hope (purely from a selfish point of view) that T's dont have any big glitches this month, as I will literally have nowhere to stash them until my heating has been done. The shed(s) will be full of my normal stuff. I have already had to start sorting out. I have way more pairs of shoes than I need, and I bought 3 pairs in T's yesterday. I have thrown out 2 bags full of clothes that I dont wear anymore, so that I can have space for the stuff I bought yesterday.
