When I bought them yesterday, I never bought any refills, only one cucumber, two green tea and ginger and two radox shower gels. The receipt clearly shows one dettol refill at 10p and two dispensers.
I've just made my first Mary Berry Xmas Cake - a bit late I know. The worst part was lining the cake tin. I must say that the smell from the fruit was powerful when mixing it in. I don't think they scrimped on the alcohol. I just hope it turns out OK and I don't overcook it. I still have another two cakes plus two of the cupcakes to make. At the rate I bake, I'll possibly still have them next Christmas. I much prefer to spend my weekends shopping for glitches. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Ah yes I know you only brought the sets. I have had a look at mine too and b/c on the refill in the set is not visible, but just a thought that was all, as I know they have reduced lots of rtc stuff to 10p. But may just be that you were lucky :T
Oh and all of my Mary Berry mixes are still sitting unopened in the kitchen too, even bought the oranges twice (whoopsied of course) with the intention of doing them, but never got around to itA clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. Any offence is not intentional, I'm really quite harmless0 -
so which group was right? It was those that guessed female!
Dunno where I'm supposed to have said I was male! I'm absolutely certain I never said that, nor would I, and I can't find in any of my previous posts where it might have been misunderstood so can only assume those who thought they saw it were perhaps under the influence of too much DTD'd wine :rotfl:
:j Well done me and the rest who said female :T0 -
JTD: My 1st receipt went in around 7pm. The next two were around 1am this morning. Very surprised they all came back today.0

Bit of useless information, but my nan always taught me to butter the cake tin ten shake a small amount of flour to cover. Never had a cake stick. So much eaier than messing with lining paper etc. marry berry worked too! Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0
