I just realised I have been charged £15 a month for over a year by Completesaving as in my banking statements the charger were underlined as a normal payement to INTL and a number ,until last night when I notice the payement was made to INTL Complete saving.
You can imagine my surprise. On investigation , I found out that since 2 years ago when I booked airline ticket with Ryanair. ,on the page somewhere was an offer to save £10 for the next booking.
I remember very little , but I must have clicked to accept the offer and the rest followed.thi is a very well known scam, but a company like Ryanair should not allows to happen on their booking sites.
I phone the company {Complete Saving] and cancel the membership with a few irate words.
They promised to refund but how much is still in question.
Does anyone think I will get satisfaction? Has anyone been refunded more than 6 months?

Here's a lesson for me to pay closer attention to my bank statements. £15.00 per month, for 10 months!!
I've emailed them, and hopefully they will be receptive to my request for a refund. When the cows over the moon stop laughing, if all they do is stop taking money from the account, it will be better. I tried the link to cancel as Alex suggested, but it's not a recognized website.
If you're sharp enough to read the small print on every offer before ticking the box, and then follow through with every detail, it might just work, but for the rest of us, me at any rate, No I don't want another £10 off, cos I know it will cost me more in the long run.0 -
Hi
I only noticed that there was a regular £15 per month going out on my Barclaycard Amex yesterday. I asked my husband what it was as we need to really cut back on any unnecessary spending. The entry showed the company's name and Switzerland and so I had thought it was something to do with his work as he works for a company that specializes in Swiss Wine. However, he said he didn't know what it was and he hasn't knowingly signed up for any savings scheme.
I have since spoken with Barclaycard's Dispute team who have put a stop to any future payments going out but I can see from my online statements that the £15 has been going out every month from 6th April 2015 and have asked for them to send me my 2014 statements in case more has been taken in earlier years.
My husband is at work currently so I cannot speak with him until later but I'm not certain what to do now - can someone advise me please?
I am the main cardholder and we really can't afford to have lost £180 - possibly more - especially as I now only have 2.5hrs work myself due to budget cuts affecting my local library.
Thanks in anticipation!librarylottie0 -
I also just noticed a £15 payment being taken from my Credit Card by completesavings.co.uk
I emailed customerservice@completesavings.co.uk asking for details of when and why I was signed up for their service and pointing out that I would be contacting the Ombudsman to complain.
I received a reply within an hour telling me that a full refund has been processed for all membership payments taken since inadvertently joining as I had not used the service since that time.
I would recommend contacting the company on the email above if you've found yourself in a similar position. They're obviously used to receiving these kinds of complaints...0 -
