just rang local asda the price will be reduced when the staff arrive in the morning in my case 8am and they only have 50 !!! he said it will be in the press tomorrow .
perhaps ring your local store and see what time the staff are getting in to mark down ???

Oh I'd really like to get one of these for Hubby's birthday, they've always been out of my price range in the past - I think we're the only people in the world who don't own a games console............

I'm gutted tho as there isnt' a local asda near me :sad: what can I do???? *sniff*

This, combined with people getting rid of their ps2s/kidneys to afford ps3s, will probably flood the preowned market - lots of cheap preowned consoles ahoy!

hope this is useful asda have a limited stock of ps2 for £50 as well as some cheap games going on sale tomorrow (thurs) bear in mind that they open at 7 am though

they are also getting a selection of about 10 cheap games to go with it ranging from £9 upwards.

I rang my local Asda and the lady said it's starting at 6am in the morning!

I forgot to ask how many there were, but managed to find out it was the slim line one. For £50, is it really a good price considering the technologies today...cos my last console was the Dreamcast, told myself not to buy another console because I'll get addicted! Since then, I've become addicted to Internet & gambling, karma eh?!

If you want to get a PS2 from Asda tomorrow you must be there at 6am. There again same as DVD player only limited stocks per store. Stock range from 15-40 per store.

How do you know this? Do you work for them? What about in stores that are open 24 hrs?

Asda is selling PS2 slim for £49.99 starting 6am Thursday 22nd February

My local store Corby Northants has only the black model.

Unsure if this deal is in every store.
