Rosemary - glad you had a relaxing break - welcome back!

Evilsquid - what an awesome GWP - where did you find that??

Also a UU to get the week off to a good start:

Crabtree & Evelyn aloe vera soap 100g - WNBA as not as good as the L'Occitane soaps - this left quite a bit of residue in the soap dish and I was constantly cleaning it out - L'Occitane soaps seem to stay drier somehow. Have now started a Marseilles Bonne Mere Verbena L'Occitane soap - much better!

...and a confession - have just ordered the jumbo Emma Hardie moringa balm 200ml pot from the Q. Have been really impressed with this and decided to splurge on the jumbo pot as my stash of cleansers is only a teeny weeny bit out or control compared to some of my other stashes! Budge up on the naughty step but hold the chocolate cake - no chocolate for me until Easter - what was I thinking?

it was from harvey nicks. it was spend £110 and get the bag with £110 worth of stuff in it. i needed a new tinted moisturiser that was £30 anyway and I've been after the LM fan brush since i got a mini version in a sephora kit in summer so i figured i may as well get everything i wanted with my birthday money and get it while i got something else with it. HN usually never do 10% off days or anything like that. this is it: http://www.elleuk.com/beauty/beauty-notes-daily/bag-a-free-beauty-gift

Oooh that is lovely - the bag is fab. Luckily I don't live near a HN and have just had a quick look on their website and their mail order offerings from the different brands aren't very extensive so no temptation - phew. Lucky you though - am v envious..

BFF returned to work today after a weeks leave - says I should have given cosmetic buying up for Lent - how rude is that?

I've just had "are you playing with your make up AGAIN?" off DH. he cant fathom how what i've just bought and the gift together has a value of £220 and doesn't believe me saying thats just how expensive some stuff is, especially seeing as though i got two proper full size brushes.

My DH doesn't get it either - in the same way he doesn't get how you need a different handbag for every outfit. I love ferreting in my make up and toiletry stash and deciding what to use next. I could while away many a happy hour if left to my own devices....
  • Another UU to report - Champneys Citrus Burst Body Lotion - was very moisturising and nice perfume so possibly WBA but have to use to stash first.

Had to TA TBS Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter as it had gone off :(. Not happy as it's a really lovely perfume but I'd had it for about 4 years. One of the reasons why I'm on this challenge is to make sure that sort of thing doesn't happen again.

    Hi all. I haven't had much to report so I have been enjoying reading your news without contributing much myself. Anyway I now have;
    Ins
Sanctuary Therapists secret facial oil - my skin is getting very dry and I need something to use at night. This was recommended to me by a beautician and it is gorgeous. It smells of rose and I apply a small amount to neck and face before bed. My skin is feeling better already and this could become a HG.
    .

I'm adding this to my to try list.
  • Hello everyone - been busy at work and haven't had time to catch up, but will do so now :)

Tons of splutters, no UU's quite yet, a bit disappointed with myself tbh.

    Hope everything is well ladies!

rosemary wow what a bargain!! i generally only buy perfume from cruise ships, my parents go off with a wad of cash and a list from me everytime they go on a cruise as the perfumes are less than half price! they go on 3-4 a year so my stash is um... big :o

evilsquid i was tempted by the free £110 worth of stuff but i don't really need anything from HN and i don't fancy much of the stuff in the bag. i'm actually a bit gutted as i wanted to treat myself!

Got my glossybox today, think it arrived while i was gone over the weekend. It's okay, nothing special, but it never is!
I'm taking all the "mature skin" products I've had in the last few months plus some freebies from work to my Mum this weekend. It's not a cheapskate mothers day gift, it's just that my Mum is only just starting to experiment with cosmetics but rarely likes to spend money on herself. That will be about 15-20 outs!
Plus 1 UU, Lush sea salt scrub WNBA ever urg, there was a bit left but I couldn't bare to finish it as it really isn't very pleasant to use and is full of junk. Why not just salt, clay and oil or something simple?
