Glad the weather was kind to you rosemary. You're very lucky - I love Tenerife at this time of year. We've got a few days away in the Lakes at beginning of April and I can't wait.

I've just had "are you playing with your make up AGAIN?" off DH. he cant fathom how what i've just bought and the gift together has a value of £220 and doesn't believe me saying thats just how expensive some stuff is, especially seeing as though i got two proper full size brushes.

Have had a nosey at the piccy of your new stash and it does look gorgeous. Sorry about the disastrous job interview. I really hate them. Hope something comes your way soon. What is it that you do?

MrM is like your DH. For my birthday I had £40.00 in John Lewis vouchers and I remember him (bless him) asking me if I wanted to buy more than two things with it! Hello!
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    UU:

Lush happy pill ballistic- WNBA- discontinued and prefer bubble bars
    2 tubes of Nair- WBA

    TA:

nair spray on- WNBA- this has been sitting in the bathroom for years and every time I try to use it, I give up because it's useless. Thought it was about time to chuck it out:)
    Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:13
  • Evilsquid that's an impressive haul!

UU Dove intensive conditioner tube WNBA not what i class as intensive but does make my hair soft and I love the scent of Dove.

Bad luck re the job interview Evilsquid. We've all had disastrous ones. The next one will be better, I'm sure.

I once went to an interview only for the recruitment consultant to call me up afterwards and say, "they hated you" !!!

Had 2 x UUs today, both make up, ooooh the excitement.

Boots no 7 invisible colour foundation. This was of a respectable vintage (cough cough). Think it might have been 5 years old but never opened, I used to stockpile it. WIBA? Maybe. It evens out your skin nicely and doesn't make you look as if you're wearing make up but I think there are better things out there now.

Rimmel hide the blemish concealer. The best, never beaten! WBA for sure.

I have a UU No.7 Time resisting day cream 15ml, think this was another No.7 GWP WNBA don't think it really did anything for me. Will choose something else from the stash in the morning. I really want to start buying things that will improve my skin, but seem to have a lot of bad purchases to get through first.

A bit of a boring UU today: liquid soap, I think this was Carex but I poured it into a Superdrug soap bottle as I managed to break the pump on the Carex one when opening it! WIBA? If it was on offer, I don't like to spend much on soap.

    Hi all!
    2 more UU! :j
A mini Garnier conditioner- from a hair dye- a small UU, but a UU all the same. WIBA? I will use it if I got it again.
M&S Ingredients Cherry body butter 200ml- WIBA? I have another in my stash, and its a lovely moisturiser.

I currently have four more moisturisers open which I would like to UU (all have around 25-50ml left), my aim is to finish two more of these this month!

evilsquid i was tempted by the free £110 worth of stuff but i don't really need anything from HN and i don't fancy much of the stuff in the bag. i'm actually a bit gutted as i wanted to treat myself!

thats the only prob i have with HN, i either find i want nothing from there or i want everything from there. the only brand that i use that is completely exclusive in ours now is laura mercier which why ive ended up with a massive list of stuff to get. all the rest are in boots or debenhams and are on 10% days or points offers.

I'm looking for a training contract to become a trainee solicitor. I've done all the academic stuff, just need to do my training contract. its not going well though, think the current stats are about 80 applications for one place :S

i think all men are like that tbh! my dad is like that too, completely in the dark about what my mum and i spend. tbh i think he'd have a heart attack if he knew how much my mums make up and anti ageing collection cost. he once got to a credit card bill before she did and found out the true cost of her hair cut and colour, i had to convince him shed bought nearly £100 of products to keep her ruse up that the whole thing is £50 :rotfl:

thats awful! today i got told that she didn't think my law degree "sounded right". I've got a certificate saying i got one, post nominal letters from it and about 300 people across the county also got the same one as me so it must be ok.
