I;ve just subscribed to glossybox - first box is despatched and on way ... quite excited, as been meaning to do this for ages!
although it says on email 3-5 days delivery are they normally quicker than this?
ours were only supposedly posted on friday! they have been one of the better boxes for delivery. i think most of mine have taken about 2 days to get here. its only joliebox that turns up at least a week later.0 -
I go to Gunwharf Keys maybe once or twice a year - it's a mix of full-priced shops and outlet stores. Bf and I have reduced the number of stores we go into now, to concentrate on the ones we're most likely to find things in - we're not particularly "trendy" - but we always do find some nice things!
That sounds like my Bicester trips where my friend and I visit our favourite stores - my sister lives in Hampshire so maybe we will take a trip down to Gunwharf Keys next time I go to stay with her as a change from Southampton.
Have also got a UU to report:
Bare Minerals mineral veil - WBA definately as this really finishes off your make up. Only thing stopping me at the moment is the amount I have in my stash (including some tinted mineral veil for the Summer). When I open my last jar I will definately buy more as this is a HG product for me when using mineral foundation. This was a 4g size and I have just started a large pot (9g I think) so don't expect this to run out any time soon..
Hope you are having a great Sunday everyone0 -
Not an IN for me, but I spent the most I've ever spent on a single toiletry item the other day. My sister's birthday is this coming week. She's had a rubbish year with recovering from breast cancer and a host of other illnesses, so when she asked for some Lady Million Eau de Parfum by Paco Rabanne that was what she got.
I ordered it on Amaz*n for £49.95 (80ml) the cheapest I could get without going on Fleabay. I've also ordered her the Military Wives latest CD, In My Dreams have my own copy of that and I really like it, very pleasant listening.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
a UU from the shower this morning:
alberto balsam tea tree conditioner- WNBA- only 1 left in the stash:jToiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -
Afternoon folks
I've fallen off the wagon big style! I have discovered L'Occitane and I fear it will take me a long time to recover!
Too many INs to count at the moment. My hand cream collection is just ridiculous. I am, however, contemplating taking out a magazine sub and the freebie is Green People Fruit Scrub & Vita Min Fix Moisturiser, worth £24.90. Any feedback on this? I was planning on getting the sub anyway, not for the gift. I might just wait til next month and hope the gift is trainers or weights or something lol.
I think I've managed no unnecessary spends so far in March, but its very early daysHope your all having a nice relaxing Sunday.

UU today - my benefit moisturiser (the one that took over from dear john) WIBA? yes - though ive discovered that cheapsmells still sell dear john - and also i bought an olay (the one for over 30 year olds) half price in tesco for when the other was finished. still using my tesco cucumber moisturiser too.
oh - for those who remember my spot problem about 18 pages ago - the cucumber scrub/toner/moisturiser and the witch face cloths seem to be working....
now if i couldn only find a cream that can make me shed 4 stone by wednesday Id be laughing...Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Have another 2 items to add to the list this month. Forgot about them earlier.
1 TA: Laura Geller Blush N Brighten in Ethereal Rose and Sunswept. A bit miffed because at some point I must have dropped this because whilst the container is intact the powder inside is smashed to bits. Mind you I did get this as part of a TSV auto delivery and should have cancelled the subscription to it when I realised that every blusher that was going to be sent would be a split pan with ethereal rose in it. So it's not such a dilemma that this has broken as I have another pan with half ethereal rose and I own Sunswept as a whole blusher but still mwahhhh!
1 UU: Burts Bees lip balm. This was the original honey one. WNBA unless it came in a kit.Much prefer the other "flavours". This did have some left in the bottom which I could have scooped out with a lip brush but I couldn't be bothered. Have a tub of carmex that I can put in my handbag tomorrow.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Another 3 UUs - there seems to be no stopping me lol.
2 x Clairol Root Touch up colours. Yes, it took 2 to cover all the grey. Need to book myself in at the hairdressers for a colour methinks! Will have to remember not to buy the really reduced colours as well as this burnt my head on application. Can these go off?
1 bottle of L'Oreal Elvive Restorative shampoo. WBA - this was lovely.
I now have the dregs of a huge bottle of Tresemme to use up then all I have left in the way of shampoo and conditoiner are the Ojon ones in my cabinet.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. A few IN and UU to report from over the weekend:
Firstly the IN, only one.... Neal's Yard Rehydrating Rose Daily Moisture free with Marie Claire, couldn't resist...
UU - Tesco bnatural Energising Facial Scrub - WBA if its still available but have another couple of tubes in the stash, testimony is that I still cut the top of the tube off to get an last few extra uses out of it even though I had more stashed - creamy but scrubby and not at all harsh, bargain price too presumably so winner all round! :j
Another sachet of Garnier BB cream used, not gone straight onto the last one of my freebies as yet which may be telling, after a promising start I've decided I'm not all that taken with this. The light shade which I worried would be too pale is actually really quite dark so have to be careful not to use too much and although my skin feels soft and makeup goes on well, it does feel a little greasy. Doubt I'd purchase, toying with the idea of trying the No.7 one but don't actually NEED it so holding off at the mo, although a voucher burning a hole in my handbag.....
Boots Vitamin E Facial Wipes - really liked these so would definitely BA - smelt lovely, not at all harsh but effective at removing even eye makeup and come in under £3 and also on the 3 for 2, what's not to love! I am trying to use some of my cleanser stash up and not rely on wipes all the time but these are valuable in the morning when time is of the essence!
Finally a bit of advice please ladies, torn between buying my Mum for Mother's Day either the Champneys Mother's Day Collection from Boots which is £19 from £40 and apparently around £47 worth of products and a gift set from TBS, possibly Mango, and a few bits which are also on offer and there seems to be lots of different codes, offers etc on their website too - anyone any ideas which would be better value/nicer products? Opinions please! Thank you :T0
