Helen - thankyou, and yes - the main punishment for him is being that sort of person... I emailed his new job and told them - made a point of telling them that I couldnt comment on his ability as a groom, though i have no reason to doubt that and certainally theres enough photographic evidence to suggest that hes a good groom, but I just didnt want them to get shafted the way I have....
hes since posted on facebook that hes off to another job - up in Derbyshire.... I havent had a response from his new boss (and im not expecting one - i said to her that its up to her what she does with the information,I just wanted to warn her so she didnt get treated the same) but the very nosey part of me really wants to know why..Im going to Newmarket for 3 days tomorrow, am sorely tempted to call in there on my way back Thursday night to say that Ive come for my stuff...
(but i wont cos im off to mikes and thats WAY more important to me that the snivelling creep!!)
bath later, but dont think ive got any splutterers...Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Hi all!
I'm fast running out of heat barrier for my hair and need to buy some new stuff. I've been using the Tresemme stuff, but I have honestly no idea if it has made any difference whatsoever, so I would be up for trying something new. The only trouble is, I don't know what would be any good! I've just seen a special offer in a supermarket with Aussie Miracle heat barrier, but I don't find the shampoo/conditioner any good for my hair, which is half putting me off despite them being totally different types of products.
Anyone have any recommendations? Please call me 'Pickle'

ooh lucky you. I dream of finding OPI on clearance. Last time was in TKMaxx but they only had yucky colours.Hi everyone,
Quick question, I have no doubt someone will be able to answer... I'm not much of a nail polish addict, just have 3 or 4, and I'm not bad at doing french manicures, so I have OPI Alpine Snow, beautiful white for tips. Went to do a french manicure last night and it's gone all gloopy and thick, so I couldn't do it. Do I bin it? Or is there a way to rescue it? Does the old trick of putting a little drop nail varnish remover in work? Or is that nonsense?
I really don't want to buy a new one...for all I use it!
I've recently invested in a bottle of OPI lacquer thinner. Have only tried it on my Nail Envy so far but it's done the job.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

How long is it taking people to use up one item, say shampoo, shower gel, body lotion etc
I have in my diary that i opened a new bottle of Bodyshop Passionfruit face wash in January 2011 n only opened another new one in Feb 2012. Doesnt seem right to me, i wash my face 4/5 times a week with this and use a scrub on other days.
Just thinking that either i have replaced it during the year and forgot or am i being really frugal with my products.0 -
L'Occitane cherry Blossom hand cream all UU:( On the plus I did avoid the Cosmo and Glamour on this trip lol BF stopped me, flying separate Wednes through so might not be so lucky second time around.Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
I think it depends on the size of the bottle Nuffinsfree. I'm sure that my olay would easily last a year if I didn't get so fed up of it and use it on my shoulders and neck and put loads on and have the rest of the family helping themselves too!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

Hi all!
2 INs courtesy of lovely mag freebies! Neals Yard rose moisturiser: can't wait to try this! Love the sound of it. Clinique Moisture Surge: I liked the last freebie I had of this, but I may give it to my friend next time I see her.
I was tempted by the Percy and Reed hair mask (i've never actually heard of this brand, but i'm guessing it relatively pricey?) but from what you guys have said about the freebies, I won't bother! So thanks all, you've saved me from another IN :-)
One UU just now: Lush Lil' Christmas Pud- WIBA? Christmas sale bargain, but turned the water an odd brown colour, nothing special otherwise.
I'll declare my ebay OUTs when I get them sent tomorrow.
My goal for this month is to finish at least two of the body butters/ lotions that are half used!
Have a good evening all.0 -
GA to my sis Vitage eye cream because it stings my eyes like a biatch! I have persevered with it but can't stand it anymore. Onto a Clinique one that was from glamour mag last year see if that's any better.
Tried the red Lippy yesterday from the LIB red carpet box, I Love it!0 -
I have UU's- plural! Yay me
No7 P&P night cream WIBA?: Yes probably. Have some more in stash (sample sizes) and will then try out some cheaper brands though like the aldi lacura one.
No7 blissful body wash WIBA?: Yes, I love this. I have some more in stash though so no need at present.
2x Mens facial moisturisers finished off by DH WHBA?: Probably but he has 3x No7 P&P to get through first.
1 red NV WIBA?: Not this brand as it came in a massive set. If available as a little set then maybe. I have others to get through for now. I'm not sure if it was a UU or a TA really, I couldn't get the brush to the bottom of the bottle but it still had some in IYSWIM. The faffing meant it wouldn't apply cleanly though so out it's gone.
Off to update my stash list in 1st postDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
