No buying unnecessary toiletries in March - Challenge

Thank you Helen
Well I've been taking my mind off work with packing for my holiday this weekend, can't wait as needing to get away from the strains of being at work and home.
I have a couple of splutters but nothing finished yet, hoping for some more over the next few days.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I haven't tried the new ones yet but it wouldn't surprise me. I have some of the old packaging to UU first.
Interesting opportunity Kaz - it does sound tempting but with a degree of uncertainty.

I haven't been great with counting my outs though there have been a few.
My stash is tiny now (in comparison), I just had a sort through and I really don't have much at all.
The cupboard above my bed used to be jam packed with lotions and potions and now it's full of books
Books!! My second biggest vice! I have two boxes to be read under the spare room bed, a pile next to my blanket box, and pile on the night table. Must stay away from Chapter's Clearance Table. I mean $2 for a book? If it's bad or not one I'll read again, I just leave it at the hotel for the next person to read. Somebody always picks up a left behind book or magazine. Last resort we stayed in had "left behind library".0 -

I think it depends on the size of the bottle Nuffinsfree. I'm sure that my olay would easily last a year if I didn't get so fed up of it and use it on my shoulders and neck and put loads on and have the rest of the family helping themselves too!
Just the standard 250ml bottle. Think i got carried away with thinking that i would use 4 bottles during the year. Opps, now my stash is going to last 4 years instead of 1.
Think my aim this year is to work out how much stuff i actually use so i can bulk buy without feeling guilty. Always seems better when you go on a slurge rather then buy in drips and draps.0 -

I loved this stuff so much have bought already, so will have to get rid of exisiting rubbish foundation some how.
FannyAdams and Wondercollie, I'm a massive book person as well, only really asked for books this christmas and got more books for valentines as well, and will be getting some more instead of an Easter Egg this year. I bought a new book case in the summer and its full already. I use the good reads app for my books and have 150 books on my 2 read list already (don't worry I don't have that many in the house waiting to be read).
Back on the Toiletries front I'm hoping that a couple of my splutterers will be UU before the end of the week. Also I hope you don't mind me saying, but I have a referal link for the shesaid beauty box if anyone was wanting to sign up. I get 1 free box for every 2 people who sign up, if you want to sign up using my link please PM me and I will send it to you. Sorry not encouraging anyone really.0 -

Hi all!
I'm fast running out of heat barrier for my hair and need to buy some new stuff. I've been using the Tresemme stuff, but I have honestly no idea if it has made any difference whatsoever, so I would be up for trying something new. The only trouble is, I don't know what would be any good! I've just seen a special offer in a supermarket with Aussie Miracle heat barrier, but I don't find the shampoo/conditioner any good for my hair, which is half putting me off despite them being totally different types of products.
Anyone have any recommendations?
I found the Tresemme stuff to be quite good, but the one I'm really loving at the moment is VO5's heat protection spray (in a pink bottle). Admittedly I only picked it up because it was on offer, which is how I buy a lot of my hair products, but it does work really well and also smells quite nice."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
Just finished reading February's thread and now have 7 pages of March's to get through
Just to let you all know I'm in again this month. UUs are a bit slow but not pampering or using things as much or as often as I'd like due to being so tired. Have to say though I would pick motherhood over pampering any day and feel so lucky to have my little boy.
Having seen all the stash lists will try and see if I can get one together as not posted mine for a few months, but only if it fits on one pageDid owe £9,951.96
