    1. Sugar/salt scurb consistancy- such as mango, lemon and shea nut. Defo the best ones for me, the mango one is my fav and doesnt leave a horrible oily film at the end.

I'm glad to hear this as I have a mango one in the stash. :) I found the shea one so greasy and it made my shower dangerously slippery! I usually don't buy scrubs but this came in a bargainous set.

Two UUs, posie tint blush (Benefit) I love this and though it is a tad pricey I tend to use up my boots advantage points on buying it, so already have another in my stash. I find it nice and easy to blend with my fingers and better than using a powder blush.

Also a small size of Avon Anew factor 25 moisturising cream, this was a good consistency but I wasn't keen on the smell, so have ordered Body Shop vitamin c cream, with SPF 35, (50% off one product at the moment if you order online).

Two ins - after visiting three shops I tracked down Clinique mascara on Cosmo and had a voucher from Woman and Home for free 15ml of l'Occitane Ultra Rich Face Cream. Was a bit annoyed to visit another newsagents at the weekend only to find all the Cosmo's had two free Clinique gifts. Managed to resist buying more!

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

I'm in again. i know i've been a bit quiet of late but i'm sticking to the rules, just don't seem to be using much up of late. still in the midst of moving, most of the time it feels like we're never going to move, but i know we will eventually.

Quidco is really simple - I joined because my BF kept nagging me to - so far I have got over £400 back including nearly £100 on our Eurodisney holiday last year. Sometimes the amount paid back is quite a small % but I have been surprised at how quickly it mounts up. I tend to buy most things online now even if I have seen something in store. Some biggies that I shop with - Amazon, John Lewis don't offer cashback through Quidco but most of my other favourites do. I think you pay something like £5 a year to be a 'member' but they deduct that from your cashback and it soon starts to mount up. HTH

I use topcashback as there's no £5 yearly charge and if you can find a better rate of cashback on another cashback site thenthey will match it. I've had over £900 since I've started using it over a couple of years. :D
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

    Hi All,

I've had a flurry of activity challenge-wise over the weekend, a few splutterers spluttered their last and a few INs crept in as well but didn't pay full price for anything and its all stuff I either needed or will fairly soon use (note the self justification). I've had a truly awful week at work with a promise of more of the same to come so hey ho, not going to beat myself up about a few tiny purchases!

Firstly the UU, Garnier BB Cream sachet, I really quite like this but have nothing to compare it to in relation to rival versions so difficult to say how good it would be in comparison to something similar. Got another couple of sachets to use, will then ponder purchasing it or may try the No.7 version whilst I've got a voucher. Has anyone tried that one?

Next Spiced Ginger Body Polish - Oh my goodness, this was truly foul, in its defence it was of a very suspect vintage and smelt positively fermented, quite scrubby but made me smell like something akin to a Christmas pudding doused in brandy. Deliberately used the third or so that was left in one go or it'd have been binned and followed it up with Clean On Me and and Lush Ring of Roses butter cream just to get rid of the smell! :o

Lush The Mandarin's Tea Party soap - I really like this, its cheerful with its orange suds and makes the bathroom smell nice just sitting on the soap dish, however, as is my usual grip with Lush soaps generally, it really doesn't strike me as great value for money as not cheap and UU really quickly. On a very odd note my OH also thinks this makes me smell like wood (?!) so perhaps not a HG! :rotfl:

Herbal Essence Dazzling Shine shampoo - My first attempt at repurposing a product, ended up finishing this off as a hand wash and a fine job it did too, is apple scented so was lovely to wash your hands with and didn't find it harsher than purpose bought hand wash which I was a little worried I might. In terms of using as a shampoo, it had made my dark hair lovely and shiny but unfortunately rather unruly.

Tresemme Freeze Hold hairspray - This is my HG of hairspray without a doubt, marvellous gravity defying stuff, ran out completely with little warning, none in the stash or any other hairspray full stop as must admit I haven't bought anything else for years really so that immediately led to...

INs - 2 x Tresemme Freeze Hold hairspray 500ml - either £5 each or two for £6 in Boots so that was a no brainer and I will use it eventually, although a large bottle like this will last me quite a while.

No. 7 Beautiful Skin face wipes - Didn't actually need these right now but had a £5 voucher and from the ACM a voucher for 250 pt with any Beautiful Skin purchase so at £7 they basically paid me 50p to take them so couldn't resist and of course, I got another £5 voucher. Really love that you can use multiple discounts at once at Boots as so many other places won't allow it. Its just that high of getting a bargain however small does it for me, which I guess is why I'm here!

    evening all,

I have a few more uu's to report and a few naughty and totally unnecessary purchases to declare,

uu - Gok gorgeous body butter, love most of the gok stuff so will buy again, have moved on to one of the squillion soap & glory body butters I own now.

uu - Happy Hair lemongrass & basil shampoo, love this stuff and have another one in the stash but I'm going to try and finish the 4 open bottles of shampoo lining the bathroom shelves first before I open any more.

uu -sanctuary bodywash (mini) - I'd forgotten just how lovely this smells and will probably buy again at some point

    Ins :o

Percy & Reed shampoo, conditioner, mask, and finishing polish - yes I bought 4 copies of that magazine !
    - OPI nail varnishes x 3 - a local store had a clearance shelf offering various products at buy one get 2 free so got all three for £11. I can't remember the names of the shades but got a pink, a purple and a dark blue.

Also, I decided I needed an eye cream and having no real idea which one to buy opted to try a cheap one - so declaring Balance Active Youth REjuvenating eye cream (bought for £1.99) as another in :o

I have another UU today - my HG Gum Hairspray. Love this as it gives great hold and isn't sticky. This means I now have one in use and one in my stash. I did manage to buy it at 99p a can last time, so I am hoping it hasn't been discontinued.

Today I started using Dirty Works body oil and I am quite impressed with it. I have previously used The Sanctuary body oil which is the only product of theirs that I have liked. I got the DW on offer for 98p :D

I also use Quidco (see sig) and would recommend it.

Edit - Just PNON & T - French manicure & Nails Inc St James (lovely bright red). Also a TA Nails Inc Nails Inc Floral St - It was almost out but the last of it is just too thick and gloopy. WBA.
