Giving up Money for Lent

  • I can't wait for payday either, more money to transfer out of my current account and into my savings account, plus another car payment down, which will just leave 3 to go.

This challenge has come at the right time for me, as we should be getting the plasters in to quote this week on replastering our dining room, however I shall be smug in the knowledge that I can pay cash as there should be enough in the account to cover it (based on the quotes for the other rooms we had done).

I would just like to say, and yes I know we still have about 9/10 days to go but I think we might need a bit of...

CONGRATULATIONS to all of us :T :T and Thank you CAFCGirl :T :T

I can't believe we've all saved that much in a 40 day period and it's really changed my whole way of thinking. DH still doesn't realise I'm doing the challenge and I'll be able to suprise him on holiday by paying for all our treats :rotfl:

    Well thats great stuff Kiwi!

I hope everyone is still enjoying it, and I want to say Thank-you to everyone for the support network we've built up amongst us. Long may our successes and friendships continue in the next challenge!

It's dawned on me how much money I must have spent on rubbish before, and it hasn't been that hard surely?!
