If you're reclaiming 2600 why do you think you'll only get half?

well, what with this test case apparently going through the courts, i think the same thing will happen as with the credit card case ... they'll agree a fair amount to charge, i.e. £12. the banks will then refund the difference between what a fair penalty charge would have been i.e. £12 and what was actually charged i.e. £25.

my bank have had 5 weeks to investigate my claim so far, they've got 3 weeks left so i'll try my VERY BEST to hold out on the jeans!!

Look at what it's done to all of us. I seem to break out in a cold sweat when anyone asks me to spend any money. It's taken me 2 days so far to get my shopping list done online, I'm stilla sking for help on OS to shave more off, and I'm in search of some vouchers for it too!

and i've managed to stay within my OD limit, on personal and joint accounts, not put anything on my card yet pay off £350 and save £300 for wedding account. without this, i would have CERTAINLY gone well over my limit and no doubt incur lots and lots of charges.

CAFCGirl, what's stilla sking? and OS?

Well I think it's saved me about £140 :T I was able to transfer a further £50 to my parents and £150 to DH/morgage which I might or might not have been able to do depending on willpower and need :rotfl: EDITED to say WANT not need

LOl well the first one is lazying typing on my account, it should have said 'still asking' and the OS is Old Style MoneySaving Board.

Was searching their pearls of wisdom, but I've completed my shopping now, £40. But it's all food stuffs, which are needed, and the only thing I'll need after that will be top up fruit and veg. So could be on track to come in under budget on my food spending too for this month. As I'm not exactly a great one for planning!

Due to the success I've had with this challenge I even been able to juggle my spreadsheets and budgets around so much so that I can increase my credit card payment from £40 to over £90.

And if I do as well on the next challenge as I have on this one. I'll have another £50 (from analysing my spending) to throw at the debts.

I WILL get my debt free date into 2008!!!
