A NSD day today,I went to the hairdresser's this afternoon, but I budget for that,it's about my only luxury.
Woke up this morning with a sore throat,so I think I am coming down with a cold.
I have only got a few basics to buy tomorrow and I am not going out on Sunday or Monday so no spending there.0 -

The only thing that truly makes me feel unwell is realising how much cr&p I was spending my money on beforeWealth is not measured by currency0 -
hello everyone
I spent £1.80 today on a sandwich - once again I was in a big rush and didn't leave time to make anything. I didn't buy a drink even though I was parched. I like the idea of having £10 pocket money a month so I don't have to get too angsty about spending on sandwiches when necessary.
On present budgets - I spend about £50 on each of my kids but £10-£20 max on adult relatives and friends.
Hope everyone here has a great no-spending weekend. I have to buy some Heelys for my daughter but this is with money she has saved up from two years worth of birthdays and Christmases! She's definitely the most solvent person in the household.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Hi CAFCGirl & Friends
I just want to thank you for being an inspiration & for helping me to decide to give up spending money on un-necessary stuff i.e. rubbish for a month.
2 Days in I'm already feeling great about my decision and look forward to seeing how much money I've saved by next payday:j
Thanks again
