P.S Getting rid of fleas on a cat is essential in my mind!!!!!

    Indeed !!

I'm amazed at what I can live without that before I didn't think twice about buying. I'm tempted even after Easter to continue this, but perhaps with saturday off. Hopefully I'll have trained myself enough by then to actually stop wanting things that I don't really need. Sunday I went to get some of those little trays that go under flower pots so that I don't ruin the wooden window sill with the plants (mega spend 35p for 5). While I was there I saw some terracota flower pots which I wanted, as then I'd have all my herbs in terracota pots rather than only half of them. But I resisted, after all that really was a want and not a need as they are in perfectly adequate plastic ones.

definitely a necessity. surely it would have amounted to cruelty had you not dealt with the fleas??? may your guilt now be banished, forever gone (think i'm getting slightly carried away ....)

It glows in the dark too!

So we're all in agreement, fleas are a non essential!!!

Well done SP on resisting further temptation in the form of super innocent looking terracota......

It has become apparent to me, that THE DEVIL (aka unnecessary spending!) takes many a form......
we must seek it out and destroy it!!

    How about the Unneccessary Challenge?
    Double meaning.........
Not only is the challenge itself unneccesary.... (to some, who have self control!)
But its a challenge against the unneccesary!

I like it, CAFCGirl, not moonthingywhatsit - somebody's got to get you down to earth again :rotfl: only joking, but I do like the Unneccessary Challenge and I'm with it!
