Hi again, ive got claims going through with both lloyds and nationwide, can you tell me, i have independent sickness cover, plus i get the usual 6 months and 3 months half pay at work, also i noticed i have accident death plan. I m going to send off my independent forms, just to show proof, but would it help me sending the other accidental death plan proof too, or does that make no difference, i not too sure
Thanks

Obviously I don't want to make a claim, and then need PPI in a few months time when I cannot afford to make repayments!
A successful complaint would result in your PPI policy being cancelled and your loan being re-worked.0 -

Hi Sassy fos it, the lenders are making up lots of excuses and giving lots of reasons (wrongly) for rejecting claims now.0 -
As above guys. I'm in the Armed Forces, and its possible I may be medically discharged in a few months time. I have been mis-sold PPI, as I actually turned it down when asked on my Bank Loan. I'm glad I do have it now though! Although I obviously still have a case, if I make the claim will it negate the cover should I lose my job in future?

Thanks in advance.
Hi sean i agree with mark, ultimately it's up to you but as he says it'll only payout for a year anyway.0 -

Hi all,
Newbie here and looking for anyone with experience dealing with the Halifax. I submitted my PPI claim in May 2011 (yes that's right...), received a settlement letter for just over £3K in October, accepted, and am still waiting for the money after 26 weeks! Are others dealing with the Halifax experiencing such waiting times? Everytime I call, their useless customer service people tell me the same thing "its with the redress team and you can't speak with them". No one can tell me anything and they don't sound like they care either!0 -

Hi Sassyone19
Can I ask what address you sent your Grattan PPI letter to? and what did they mean by out of the time limit 2001? Also did you request any info from them beforehand (as in SAR) or did you just go ahead and put in your claim? Sorry for all the questions i'm trying to work out whether I have valid reason for a missell or not with them but I think prob not.
ThanksThanks to all those who post the comps0 -
Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked before - it's a LOOOOONNNG thread - but can anyone tell me if you can claim PPI on insurance such as contents or car insurance? Have found reference to PPI on two policies that I definitely wasn't told about when I took out the policy.
I'm assuming that by paying monthly you are effectively loaning the money for the full policy from them, which you pay back on your monthly deal.
Thanks.0 -
