Hi can i just ask a quick question, ive just spoken to my sister and she said her husband use to have an american express card, but she dont know if he paid ppi on it, the card is not in use anymore, how can he find out his account number?
Thanks Toni0 -
Would just like to say thankyou to Di3004/Amersall for all your great help.
Well today i won my ppi credit card claim with nationwide, i only sent the form in on tuesday, a lady spoke to me on thursday and today ive had a offer, £1,201.17. I have loan claims going through with them and next week it will be 6 weeks, so i couldnt believe how quick the card claim came back, im hoping they are looking into all my loans that i had with them.
The offer is subject to me accepting(of course i will), it says about interest, they will pay up to 28 days, i dont know how much i will get, but im happy with the offer anyway. They are putting the money straight back onto my credit card, which im not too bothered because it will bring my balance down, but im hoping to win my loan cases, they will have to put the money into my account as i have no loans with them now.
Thanks again
Im keeping my fingers crossed for my loans now xx
ToniYou are very welcome

Hi All, I got a letter of rejection today from Nationwide about two loans I had with them in 1999 and 2004. All done over the phone.
After the usual stuff about they had provided enough information at the time for me to make an informed decision as to whether or not I needed PPI.
I stated in the FOS questionnaire that I would've received full pay for 12 months followed by half pay for 6 months in the event of sickness or injury.
They said in their reply to me that It is highly unlikely that any entitlement would have covered repayments for an extended period of time. I mean, how long is an extended period of time?
In any case, If I were to be medically discharged, I would've, at the time, received a pension, not a full pension, but because if med discharge an enhanced one. This would've been payable for life and so I would've been able to carry on making the loan payments.
They have said that short of me having any more queries or anything to add this is their final response. What do you think I should do now?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Regards

Hi
New to this, but at the beginning of Jaunuary put a claim in with HFC for mis sold PPI on a a flexiloan ( finshed paying it 2011). Within a week we had a letter saying they were investigating it. On the 27th of Feb recieved a letter saying they needed futher time however, on the 28th Feb a futher letter to say that the claim had been upheld and a offer had been made. We duly signed and accepted the offer and returned it on the 29th Feb by recorded delivery ( recieved by them on the 2/3/2012 ) and also stated that we would recieve refund in 28 days into bank account. We were of course estatic to get the claim and the money will come in very useful!
However, today we are confused. com as recieved a unsigned letter saying that they couldnt investigate the the claim any further as didnt have a needed specific deatils as in ppi account number!
Have departments got their wires crossed and that the signed offer still stands.
Any help would be much appreciated thank you

Hi as well as my ongoing mbna claim, I have raised a claim with jd williams (simply be) as there has been ppi on my account since 2006. I rang their customer services and the girl said it was done on phone and I was given three months free cover and plenty of time to consider it. I said I was never asked about a pre exisiting condition and would never have taken the cover out.
I have had another look and eventually found policy and a letter with pre ticked boxes regarding phone call and one has a warning regarding being told about pre exisiting conditions and how it might effect my ppi. Now the ticks are a darker computer printed tick just looks like a printed out document .
So will they not admit liability as this document is there even though I know if I was told about it I would never agree to taking the cover0 -
Hi all
A few weeks ago I decided to put a claim in and was just wondering if it any superb wonderful personcan help me...
I purchased a loan in 2002 from Natwest and have topped it up a few times so to speak. I know I was missold ppl from what they said via telephone but don't know if I have a case/proof. I also found some letter when scowering through my old paperwork.
The last loan details were this.
monthly repayment £350 including £75 for plp
total payable £20000 including £4500 Plp
interest total £ 3900 including £850 interest on plp
I found a couple of letters that statedsign date return the blue bank copy of the personal loan, where indicated (making sure you sign and tick the box in the personal loan protector section)'
So, sorry to be a burden but
A. Do I have a case ?
B. I only sent them, all the paperwork I had, should I have got a Sar thingy
C. Can I cancel my insurance with the loan ? it has 1 year left (I didnt think you could as can't find any cancellation paperwork).
D.If I am allowed to cancel Will this jeapordise a claim?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you put these loans were front loaded? get back in touch with them and tell them the ppi was in fact a loan upon a loan that was paid over the term with interest, ask them to look at your claim again and reconsider their decision or you will take this to FOS reiterate the sickness pay that you would get, ppi for sickness only covers you for 12 months and you had work sick pay for 18 months, what other reasons did you use for mis sell and did you have the account numbers? the front loaded one is the most upheld of all ppi mis sell.0
