Hi,
im lookin at reclaiming some ppi's with credit cards that i no longer have, i have all the details except for account numbers, does anyone know how i can get my old account numbers?0 -
Thanks for advice! Yes I do believe the ppi was front loaded as I just wouldn't have seen the value of spending £1600 on the "what if ", so I'm looking to find what specifically I should be writing on my questionnaire.0

Went through agent to recover PPI which was mis sold to cover business loan but only covered me as 1 of the directors, loan was paid off in full early as company no longer existed which i informed agent this, i recieved offer of payment from LLoyds told i would recieve payment so was sent bill for fee from agent that i used which was fine as they did the work i knew this was the case, today recieved letter from LLoyds telling me money has been sent to Treasury Solicitors Department as my company was being managed by insolvency practitioner, this was total shock to me company hasnt traded in over 2 years. I called LLoyds to ask about this was informed this fact was missed out on previous letters sent to me and the agent and they are sorry but now i have to deal with Treasury Solicitors Department. I have spoken to them and have been told to write in all my details etc check company house if dissolved company and await a response this i must do all myself and will still have to pay
agent fee and now fees to them as well. wish id never main a claim and any advice would be helpful
You will need to contact the claims co and explain what has happened, ask for more time to pay this bill if you are sure you will get the money from the claim back.
I don't know what to tell you to do if the Treasury don't give you the money back, sorry.

Hi all,
I live abroad and have just been in formed by my mother that PPI claims are now spanning back as far as 13 years.
Around 2000 I took out a series of loans, I was employed as a soldier and distinctly remember refusing loan protection (afterall, the army is a job for life lol). I was 21 years old and repayed for years...consolidated a couple of times and reborrowed. It wasn't until I was in my mid twenties and debt was spiralling out of control that my mum looked and was appalled at how much PPI I was paying...I was repaying at the highest value I could afford but the vast majority was interest and PPI (had it been left alone, I'd probably still be paying now!).
Long story short, I repayed everything in about 2004/5 when my mum took out a loan against the house, paid off my debts, and I repaid her interest free...I'm guessing the initial debt was around 9000pounds with interest added I'm thinking more like 14000 (maybe more...my then fiance also threw a huge sum at it). I have no paperwork, everthing is in storage in UK or thrown away. The two companies were Egg and Cahoot. No paperwork, no concrete dates, no proof....is it worth starting this procedure.....I know I was taken for a huge ride...I wasn't missold, I said no and they took it anyway, I was too young and too dumb to check what I was paying.
I know that was very longwinded but thoughts anyone!?0 -
1. I have no idea how long I have been paying
2. I don't even remember taking this out, although I must have, but can't really say it was mis-sold as I have no memory of it.
3. I don't know if it was over the phone, internet or in branch
Just say it as it is, the bank sent you the questionnaire, up to that point, you thought it was something that came with the overdraft and you do not remember when it was taken out or where.0 -

Give Egg and cahoot a call and ask if they can find you, start from there, they may still have you on the data base, if they don't, it may be better if you could get the info out of storage to see if the details are there.
Barclays took over Egg book but as these loans were finished before they took over, I doubt if your loan info was passed over.0 -
