Is it too early to fill out an Ombudsman Questionnaire?
I've never trusted those Banks who take the reasons for mis-selling over the 'phone. It means there is no paper trail of your complaint.
Ring again and ask for the reference number of your complaint and write this on the top of your questionnaire.

Hi Cappo,
Thank you for that I shall give it a go. They can only say no, then I'll write again and if they still no I'll take it further coz I'm a persistent little thing:D:D
And don't worry, I may have lost all the t&c's but letters I keep like they are gold!
Goose
Hi goose you should have enough there to do your reclaims, send them a questionairre for each complaint giving as many details as you can you should'nt need your t&c's remember to keep copies0 -
Hi Amersall,
TBH I have no idea if it was single premium? Looking back on what few statements with the payments on that I have, I can only see one payment going out toward the loan. So does that give you any clue?
Thanks Goose
Know it is a long shot:D but did you pay the PPI in with the loan payment each month?, if you did then this is single premium PPI and you paid this back over the loan term with interest, use this as a reason for mis sell, this is the most upheld of all PPI reclaims.

Do note that people have successfully complained on the telephone, but if this has to go to FOS it means that they are effectively dealing with exactly the same complaint information which the Bank did.0 -
